strange pile of rocks

Glad to hear your ok. I hope that when you find the treasure that you don't leave us all hanging, not that you need to tell us ya found it but atleast tell us that you have given up or something so we all know that all is well.

T H L What great rock picks you have posted. I just worked my way through this thread and feel that it is right in front of you.
In post 185 I would get atop that ledge some how.

The pick in post 218 Leaning rock got my blood flowing. You have to check out the area above there around the tree.
If you can't climb up could you repel down; you are so close! I can feel it reaching out to me.

Is it snowing out your way yet?
Best of luck and play safe.

TLH,

I also own an OKM GPR Machine

Here are some of the things it can and can not do

GPR does not shot a radar beam into the ground and send the info back to the machine

Instead it only reads and measures the radiation that the ground is putting out

So if it’s real hot out you will not get a true reading due to the hot sun on the surface
It will not penetrate the surface - you will only get surface readings
If there is too much moisture in the ground you will not get a true reading
It will not penetrate though water or clay

You can not take any shots horizontally- like trying to scan a wall
It has to be straight up and down – like scanning a floor
While using this machine do not move it all around
Always keep it in the same position until scanning is done

It works great when looking for minerals or ore bearing veins

The one I have has the Cave finder
This works great when looking for voids
It will tell you - cave yes or cave no
Because the probes are in the ground it sends a current to each probe
and then the information can be transferred to your laptop
and using the 3D software you can get a great view of the void
and see any mineralization on the side walls
and it also give you depth

I hope this will help you operate and understand your machine

In this strange pile of rocks, has there ever been any sign of yellow sulfide to be found along the base of a wall formation? It may be your only outward sign near the portal.

I have to date, located two different air shafts that were disguised as rabbit burrows. There is ice cold air streaming up from each of them. Both locations have some sign of sulfur (a yellowish orange brown tint) rising up on the face of the stone next to the soil. A six to eight inch diameter pole is propped up in the mouth of the portal and then the entrance stacked with stones and landscaped. The pole is pulled up out and the hole is left for the critters to inhabit.

hi TLH,hadn't noticed this thread, till a couple of days ago, great adventure you are having, hope it
comes to a successful and profitable conclusion for you.
i do enjoy your great pics, and taking us with you on the hunt. the new tech gadgets are cool too

the quote below explains alot, i always wondered how, what looks like, in the pics, that ive seen to be
small rocks, and they had not been disturbed by nature in someway. i had never read a post that stated their size b4, anyway thanks for clearing that up for me.
i think the tombstone rock area, is interesting, as who goes up that high, to do that and why, it just begs for more attention, signs or no signs.

TLH SAID
one time I accidentally took a picture of the little turtles while a Crow was perched on them and
I was shocked to see how big they really were. Relative to the crow I figured that the small turtle
on top was about four feet long and the one he sits on maybe five ft long . So even the small one
must weigh a couple of hundred pounds,

Are you still alive??
Can you update this post.
Are you still looking or just haven't gotten around to figuring these rocks out?
>:(

I would like to know how this turned out as well a good thread indeed

Not likely as he hasn't been on the forums since August 2011 ... was a great story though and lots of interesting pics.
