Where's that coffee ?

Well, then I guess just wait a year or two until that technology starts to become almost outdated and prices start to take a huge dive towards just this side of cheap (just like plasma screen/LCD tv's- at first, only affordable to the wealthy...now, everyone's got at least 2 in their house!).

Hold on a moment......coffee's a brewin!

Short finger, TOO OLD ( ? ) I have it that yer just out of diapers. psssst (NP and ORO said so )

HAY now don't go dragging ME into your POTTY-TALK! :tongue3:

What about the idea of you going with your team up to Tayopa, to direct operations? Is there any way you could go along to show them where to dig/look? I would imagine you can still ride a mule (one does not forget that easily) or if you had a pal with a handy helicopter...?

:coffee2: :coffee2:

Oroblanco, Amigo:coffee2:
POTTY-TALK:nono: curious is that a left or right handed helicopter? Im not sure if it makes a difference to us ,but it would to the mule:crybaby2::whip2:NP:cat:

Hmm well I don't have any pals with helicopters so can not answer your question. On the other hand, Don Jose has many more friends than I do, and just might have a pal with a chopper :dontknow:

I agree, it looks like the only way you will see any progress is if you go with your team. I would recommend the mule, however. While I am not an expert on flying a helicopter, I know a couple of helo jockeys. From what they tell me about their experiences, and the terrain in the Tayopa area would be very difficult to fly in. Steep, narrow canyons, swirling, unstable winds, and no place to put down in an emergency......

SF, they spoke the truth, however there are plenty of places to safely touch down. However while they may be only a few hundreds of meters away they involve a day or so of travel.

P.S. while I have a commercial multi engine land & sea ticket, I naver finished my heli ticket

RdTTT - got this from a friend of a friend of a friend. These guys have been working on a "vault" in Mexico for quite a little while and their drill broke through into a large void quite recently. Remains to be seen what it is, but - why can't your team try the same thing?

Agreed - a drill would save a LOT of digging by hand in un-promising places. I have been wanting to add one of those gas-engine drills like this one:
Tanaka Gas-Powered Drill — 1.3 HP, 1/2in. Chuck, High Speed, Model# TED-262HS | Gas Powered Drills| Northern Tool + Equipment

Of course unless you can figure a way to be there to show the team where to drill, a lot of wasted holes could be drilled too.

ALL of you "old timers" (I hate that word) are a vanishing breed. So many adventures,, when they were adventures.
Ahhh,, and the tales,,, (of all kinds eh ? <wink>)

And then there is the stories of times bygone. So old that only the dust knows the truth.
You who have actually chased,,,read the sign,, then found those ancient treasures.

DAMN IT,,,I was born 15 years too late. And I am STILL waiting for y'all to finish those books,,HURRY UP !!,, I want mine AUTOGRAPHED !!!
