Spanish Galleons

Robert,

So far I haven't finalized the menu... I know for sure we're having BBQ ribs, Burgers, Hotdogs and some exotic concoctions that Deepsix is going to cook. As far as what those concoctions are, we haven't finalized as yet, but let me tell you when Brad cook's it's a can't miss deal! Now if you want, I think a bunch of chicken thighs to throw on the grill might just round it out.

To All:
I'm also supplying Bud and Bud Light Beer, Ice Tea and soft drinks. If you prefer something else, I recommend you bring it.
If anyone wants to bring anything else, Let me know what you want to bring ie: Potato/Macaroni/Bean Salads, Desserts, etc. That way I won't be duplicating the effort. The more, the better.
Also another large cooler full of ice will no doubt be welcome.

Aquanut

Yeah, Whitefeather,
I did watch that movie, but it was so long ago that Captain Morgan has had those memory brain cells walk the plank.

Guy in Back,
Sorry you can't make it. I'm sure we'll have another.

Aquanut

;D :icon_pirat: Yo Aquanut,
The wife and I can get a large cooler of party ice. The small cube type if that will do. We'll also bring four or five gallons of sweet tea if you like. Coke & Morgan Select/Black Seal or some other Puerto Rican Poison should do nicely. I'll be stayin straight as I am the designated driver and will have a three hour drive home after the festivities but will bring a splash of the Captain for medicinal purposes. The Parrot says I'll be keel hauled if I get snookered.
If we can bring anything else just give me the word. Meantime I'll be relaxing.
Counting Down,
White Feather Crew

Thank You Whitefeather,
the picture is priceless! If you don't mind the floor, Bring a couple of sleeping bags. I've got a couple extra beds but they're spoken for...
I'll probably wind up on the floor myself!

If anyone out there is planning on coming to the cookout that I don't know about, please let me know so I can make sure no one goes hungry.

I'll be bringing me and bunch of books and research notes . --- I like to read a lot of differant stuff ( you never know just where a juicy tidbit of info might "pop" up at --sometime its the darnest places) but it can be a bit boring to most folks (but then again --I'm not most folks) -- seems most folks just want the quick and fast --"cliff notes" version ---uh ivan, wheres that old shipwreck fulla gold at according to all the old data and books you read :read2: ? ;D :icon_thumright: the process they care not a whit about ???-- only the end "product" --- frankly speaking most folks don't want to know how johnsonville brats & sausages are made---- only are they good & tasty and are there lots of em? :occasion14:

Ivan, research is the essence of treasure hunting. The thrill of the hunt. Once you find it, "the thrill is gone" ( BB King). I look forward to seeing your research notes. I'll bring mine.

Hey Aquanut,

Strikes me you would be better to restrict the Whitefeather party to the parrot !!

Enjoy the event, everybody. I think that this event will have a symbiotic result, and may lead to truly great things. I am really sorry I won't be there.

Best wishes,

Mariner

Well Everyone.
It looks like we have 37 folks who will be at the Cookout! I can't wait! This is something that will definitely stir some treasure hunting juices among our pirate loving souls!
Aquanut

Dinky Dick said he may be coming as well! I would wait for him to confirm this, but he did say he was thinking about making the trip when he was up here on Saturday.

Robert

Absolutely Dell.
I haven't seen you since Pegleg's Treasure Expo.

Robert, there always room for more. Tell Dinky he'll be missing a fun opportunity if he doesn't come!

ah the salvor 6 the thrill of the hunt is good I must agree and finding the "RIGHT SPOT" is a special thrill known by just a handful of folks --- but sealing the deal and proving your find by having the goods hauled up and making a bit of coin in the process is hardly a "let down" in my book . :icon_thumright:

hum --- the -- FAMOUS FORTY?

I think if everyone plans on getting here around noon we might beat the afternoon thunderstorms.
Aquanut

Hey Dell,
I got a nice surprise when I got off work today! I went up to the corner store but it seems they couldn't make change for the Million Dollar bill you sent. Thanks for your consideration... The other part of your mail will be put to good use.
Do try to make it Saturday!
