Season 12

As we all know, there is no way to prove there isn't or never was a treasure vault on the island.. The whole island has never been dug down to water or bedrock and never will be of course. So anything is still possible. However unlikely it might be.. For instance if Samuel Ball did find a treasure of gold coins on the island and he dug a hole in the basement of his house and buried "some" of it and never told anyone before he died, it could still be there and they are not allowed (I don't) think to dig at the site of his old house..
Samuel Ball was paid both salary and spoils shares for his service in the British army.

That's where his income came from and not from a fictional treasure.

Everybody says that about his British Army money. From my understanding it was a 1 time payout at the end of the war. Do you really think they gave him and all the others enough money to live on nicely for the rest of their lives!! It might have helped him get started buying land and building a house on OI but that is it, and I highly doubt he got well off from farming cabbage there after.. Not sure how well off he was but enough that he had a Butler who he left his estate to once his last wife died, the butler got everything that was left.. We need to look into the butler and see how he faired there after..

To be honest I got involved with this argument / discussion a yr ago and got no where - Now I tune in every once in awhile to view / read the entertainment .
If people dont want to believe , power to them , If people do want to believe who the heck are we to tell them their wrong .
Jesus ! Some folks just want to argue about anything .....

There's nothing to argue about with this topic. Who's ever been wrong...? Who's ever been right...? All we know is that after 200+ years and all the numerous efforts nobody knows if anything of value is still or was ever in the ground.

The only known fact is that nobody has seen or knows if anything of value was ever on O.I. And still the search continues for something that nobody knows anything about.

Calling non-believers trolls should never be allowed here. You have your opinion and we have our opinions. Nothing wrong with debating the merits of the show and the possibilty that treasure is or isn't buried on Oak Island.

The reason I post here is to call out bogus treasure claims. We all work way too hard finding our valuable coins and relics to sit back and watch two clowns claiming to know where this massive treasure is every week, but never finding anything to substantiate those wild claims. I find more on a bad day detecting than these guys have found in 12 years of the show! They need to stop this nonsense until they actually find something.

Why keep airing a show about nothing? It worked for Seinfeld, but it doesn't work for treasure hunting shows. Put up or shut up, Laginas. You're starting to look like con artists collecting a fat paycheck every week by coming up with more and more outlandish tales every week. Have some self-respect and shut the show down until you find the good stuff...
I have 4 gold claims plus work on public claims and every year people tell me I will never find gold there, its a waste of time. I ignore them and dig anyway, then I find gold and continue digging to find more gold. The "know it alls" don't know squat and the best part is they are not in my holes getting the gold I find in public prospecting areas :headbang:

The same is true for this show, as long as they keep digging they could find something. And with everything they found so far, roads, tunnels, precious metals in water samples, artifacts from all over the world, etc... is evidence to me that something there inspired a LOT of activity, manual labor and construction far beyond what is needed for a few families living on the island 100's of years ago.

But did you look for gold for 12 years before you actually found some gold? I seriously doubt it. What they've found in 12 years on Oak Island is jack squat. I've been detecting for 12 years and I've found dozens of coins from the 1700's, Rev War era stirrup, flintlock plate, flintlock trigger guard, 1700's trade ax, a dozen colonial era shoe buckles, hundreds of 1700's and 1800's flat buttons and on and on. Their paltry finds are a joke compared to anyone who is a serious metal detectorist.

I've been detecting for years and never found anything of value but still go out. Whats you point, you give up easily where others dont?

My point is any decent metal detectorist has found way more than the Oak Island clowns have found. And, no, I'm stubborn and don't give up easily. That's why I recently found these two gold relics when most people were taking a winter break from detecting.

That's what probably 99% of metal detectorists do. We all go out to "see" if we can find something of value. We all have a small amount of money invested and it's fun to just see what we might find. But we don't proclaim to be looking only for something of great value or we wouldn't go out. It's actually news when we do find something of value and a lot of us share it with other like minded folks.

And on your claims you'd never keep looking for gold for 12 years in the same spot or area if you continued to fail. If you have some success than naturally you continue to look. If you can actually see and hold what your looking for who cares what others think or say...? Your level of "success" is only gauged by you. Good job if your happy with it..!

But the brothers have repeated the same thing over and over and over and have not found a single thing in the same area for over 12 years. Nor have the folks before them shared any positive results. Finding "proof" of human activity on the island in no way leads one to believe something of value was buried. Why would it...? In fact nobody is surprised of this known fact (human activity).

Do you think the brothers will announce they quit on last episode or just fade away silently...?

As every episode and season follows the same script, on the last episode this season the laginas will be just on the precipice of uncovering the greatest treasure ever found in history BUT it will have to wait until next season. 😂

The next episode is it for season 12 or how much longer... anyone know?

The next episode is the 17th of the season. Last season had 25 episodes, so they might try to milk it for 8 more shows...

So who really cares , if it doesnt effect you or your family who the heck cares - most things in our media or entertainment are based on falsity .
