View attachment 1626713 lobster mania !!! So I get a call from the lobster boat today, and it seems that a possible silver fork came up in one of the traps today. I cant tell from the pics but I think what looks like rust might really be coral growth. Ill take a look at it tomorrow. From time to time objects get put in the trap by octopus. Some times they'll fill a trap up halfway with stuff. Sometimes they put man made objects in the trap. Ive even got khng si pottery frags from the galleon wrecks. View attachment 1626720 never seen this type with three prongs, any one have an age estimate ?? Could be a wreck close by and if I can date this design it might be helpful in the future. This was out in 200 ft of water so no one knows about this one.

...

Bart, how much do you have to pay for a lobster in the US?

Here it costs between 20 and 40 Euros.

Those for 20 have mostly two heads or 3 scissors or look like they was hit by a truck.... :tongue3:

Hillbilly Prince,

Since you're a Van Morrison fan. Pretty hard to beat Pink Floyd on Comfortably Numb but Van Morrison's version in my opinion is better.

6-7 dollars a pound off the boat,12-15 dollars at the store/market, 25-50 dollars at the restaurant !! There free if you dont mind swimming........and you can catch them !! It can be embarrassing when you are outwitted by a prehistoric crustacean with a brain the size of a pin head !!

You ever had cold water lobsta? The Wife and I have been to the Caribbean 5 times and never much cared for them warm water critters, the fish..that was a different story.:laughing7:

Chris,

Yeah I had what they call rock lobster in the Bahamas and found the meat stringy. Since I'm originally from New Brunswick that and Maine are prime cold water lobster grounds. Those are the ones I prefer.

Folks,

Pasta carbonara, just a bit of background or so the story goes cabonara is Italian for coal and this hearty dish was served to the coal miners back in the day and as a reminder they put lots of freshly ground black pepper on it.....that's my story and I'm sticking to it.....:laughing9::laughing9::laughing9:

Not what he meant,WD...
I'll help out this once. But I cannot explain why this is in my liked videos.

I discovered him late in life. I got a cassette somewhere with a bunch of his great stuff on it. Used to play it so much. I understood he was not fond of people covering his material because they had not lived it. Something like that.
My sister's dog is named Gypsy. After Gypsy Rose Lee lol. But only cause the dog has been a lot of places.

Buddy, are this Trannies or is it just the 260 pixel resolution of the video ?????

Did you miss Alizee up there?! Anyway, those were burlesque dancers. You should find the movie about Gypsy Rose Lee starring Natalie Wood, who was arguably one of the most beautiful women ever.
