The Obverse side of this counterfeit 1781 Irish Halfpenny is one of the best conditioned old coppers on the Obv side I have but what is cool about this lightweight counterfeit is how they used a G instead of a O in GEORGIVS, but then corrected that. :)

Those were actually counterfeited quite a bit, maybe the most for early British silver.

So to make up for that boo boo, how about here is a multiple stamped 1781 Counterfeit Irish Halfpenny, I found this one so I know it is mine > :tongue3:

You've been lucky on the cool Hibernia ctfts, but I think my 1773 trumps em all! ;D (just not for condition) :-\

I like it, have always had a thing for stamped coins since I started detecting.
