I am considering a scan of Stump Pass beaches southwest of Grove City in SW florida. I live 15 minutes away. Anyone want to join me?

I just talked to someone that claims a person was taken to the Rocky Bluff site. This person had a device that could locate gold, silver or platinum. Within 5 minutes with no prompting or direction, they were standing DIRECTLY over the EXACT spot where everyone else has said there is a large pile of silver. I have recently signed a contract with a production company to begin the process of creating a treasure hunting reality show. I am hoping that this eventually leads to my being able to legally dig the Rocky Bluff site.

What is this device that can locate gold, silver or platinum? Sounds like a device that we all here would like to own. I get so tired of digging the pull tabs and bottle tops, so this is really something I need.

You and me both. You might be amazed at what I have learned and things I have seen since joining T-Net a year ago. I plan on incorporating it all into the treasure show. Seeing will possibly be believing. I did not witness this 80 plus year old man with the device of his own making last weekend. The info came from a very reliable source. Come to the treasure hunter's barbecue on April 20th and you can hear about it all in person from the witnesses.

I seem to be in the same boat as you and to be honest, I would have got it out if I could have. Twenty years ago I was given some notes regarding a treasure Hunters search for a pirate treasure buried in the East Granby, Ct. area. After five years of research and many trips to the area,I am convinced of the exact location of one cache and the general location [ within say 100 yds or less ] of the main cache . The main cache was estimated at 20 million back in 1965. I have sat on this for over 15 years. People have told you that you should just go and dig it up, but sometimes, due to the location that is logistically impossible. The treasure has actually become secondary to me. I would like to know if I have actually solved this legend , which would change the history of this Connecticut town. I have over 100 pages for a book about my search and asorted documentation [ newspaper clippings, historic topo's and aerial photo's] and I believe I can present a good presentation. I just wouldn't know where to start. It's really difficult to convince people of a buried pirate treasure. Your thoughts on this would be appreciated. Good luck in your own endeavors.

Your story sounds interesting. Don't ever give up and don't listen to too many critics. I would be glad to see your notes, pictures, books etc. I have my hands full with my own adventures but I am about to go full-time on the whole treasure gig. Your story is just the sort of stuff I would want on our show. Don't put any details on here that would give away too much. Feel free to PM me if you want.

peralta-Thanks for the support. I talked for quite awhile with grunt69. His story is very interesting. It is possible we may work together sometime in the future. This is one of the great things about T-Net, it brings people with common treasure goals together. Two heads can sometimes be better than one. Congratulations on your success.

Thread update. I was under contract to do a treasure hunting show. The contract has run out. I am more willing and able to share my story. Without going into any details I feel more confident than ever that there is pirate treasure in numerous locations at the area known as Rocky Bluff. As it seems the state would rather treasure sit in the ground doing no one any good, I am going to try to go after the treasures that are on private properties in the same general area. It is all about having permission to dig and having the right equipment with someone that knows how to operate it.

Keep it up Bigdogdad!

We both KNOW its there if no one else does or not...I think the state is afraid of the liability of letting someone dig near those overpass/bridge pylons...we both know it is not deep enough to hurt anything but know how the state/fed engineers are.

Curtis-I have learned a lot since you were here. I watched you operate your device and became a believer. Although we did not dig at the sites (other then a little on the reservation) I am convinced you can locate valuables. One of the things that I have learned is that an LRL works best from a distance. Of course it is called a Long Range Locator. I think the closer you get to a target the less accurate it is. I could explain this but it gets a little wordy. The ONLY way to find out what works is to detect and dig. Emphasis on DIG. I have dug hundreds of empty holes. Each time I learn just a teeny bit more. It is all adding up. I have tried so many different methods/people that certain things seems to be consistent no matter what the method. I stand back and watch it all. I am a big picture kind of person. I am liking what I see. The puzzle is almost complete. The view from here is great. Curtis-Come on down.

well i might have interesting news for you. as u can see i am a treasure hunter also, but might have a very good advise for you. since you have many locations,
i hope and at least you invite me to the prospecting area but, im kind a new on this forum and just try to send me a private message or email me,
oh and i am an expert with two box metal detectors, specially fisher brand.

prospexican-I could have used your expertise on a dig today. I have a Garrett GTI2500 with the two coil deep seeking treasure hound attachment. I do not know how to properly use it and I don't have a lot of faith in it. I had a person run a Fisher two box over a site on private property (I have permission to dig) a few weeks ago. He was from out of town. He got a good deep signal. I needed him today. Maybe you can help in the future.

Well if u get him back meaning the fisher guy, email me and i will give you a very good tip on how to know if what ever is there will b worth digging or not, i bought an older stile deep multiplier 2 coil garret, but the ADS III that i got from ebay didnt work, i wish and you let me try your garret because i saw a youtube video on one like your's and i did like it, it did showed how deep the target was but the guy who did the video didnt have much experience to notice that, since something deep will give you a wider amplitude on the signal, meaning it will read for a longer time, i hope and you know what i mean. But dont forget to contact me next time u get a fisher 2 box detector there.

Bdd just letting you know I have a backhoe and soon purchasing a mini x. So if you are ever down south in Florida let me know I am always willing to dig about.

Please share your results with us. Hope you have a good spot to dig. Or a good set of dowsing rods or pendulum.
