If they knew that nothing was there than why wouldn't they just tell me so.

If you reread some of the remarks concerning "THEM" posted on this thread, you would understand the WHY.If they knew that nothing was there than why wouldn't they just tell me so.
Bigdogdad said:ECS-All my posts on here were after dealing with the State archaelogists. 0121stockpicker-All good advice except I have brought too much attention to myself about this site. My biggest mistake was thinking i could get permission to dig. The reason for this was that they seemed willing back around 2005 to let me do it. They had a change of command at the FDOT. All I can say is we will eventually know what is there.
Jose Gaspar is a myth conjured up by some construction contractor to draw tourists to florida.
I just put an end to the nonsense about buried treasure under the Bridge. A very small diameter core bit, just proved that copper wire was buried, not Pirate Treasure. I guess to someone scape pieces of telephone cable under a Bridge may be treasure, but I don't think Pirates from old ships had telephones.
old man-I myself have never drilled drilled any test holes and I have not seen anyone else do it. I do not know for a fact what is buried at the one particular spot under the bridge. You need to learn to comprehend what you read. I completely believe there is pirate treasure at Rocky Bluff. When I meet a stranger that wants to show me their "technology" for finding treasure the Rocky Bluff site is just one of the places I take them. I am not trying to trick or decieve them in any way.
I have known along along who owned the pulse star at the site. Your friends using the pulse star certainly seemed to think there was a large pile of silver about 8' X 10' and about 4' to 5' feet down.. Can it tell you the difference between copper and silver. I am not the expert. If there was some scrap copper on the surface can you say for a fact there is nothing deeper below it. A couple of other guys years ago used their own equipment and said there was silver. Yes, Ovid used his dowsing pendulum the very first time and was the one that led me there. I am just going by what everyone has told me up to this point and also knowing the history of the area.
Since you and so many others don't believe a word I say on here why would I believe you. You hang around with pirates and will be judged by the company you keep. These pirates may be wonderful guys but the fact that they are proud to call themselves pirates makes me question how much to believe it all. I did not witness a thing that you say that you did.
By the way it is 5:45 a.m. and two of my good friends will be here any minute as we are heading out to the Everglades to meet with everyone involved with that site. Thanks for you "efforts" and "concern". You have debunked nothing.
old man-I will ask again, how many holes and how deep? There is junk throughout the area. When there is junk everywhere it is bound to be over or around treasure sites. If you read back through just about any of this thread, I have stated time and again that there may be nothing but junk non-ferrous metal at this particular spot. Somebody in the past found a 4 foot piece of indoor house phone line. Is that all there is at this site? Phone line? Do you know how easy it would be to dig up some junk that you detected on or near the surface and then fail to dig down to a possible treasure below. I am not saying for a fact that this is the case at this site. So I will ask once again, when you drilled, how long of a drill bit did you use and how many places did you drill? Fairly simple questions don't you think?
Do you consider me asking these questions to be attacking you? You must be pretty thin-skinned. As far as me baiting people, I have had people from T-Net come to my house. I have welcomed these complete strangers and then took them to the bridge site and other sites. No one has complained or felt they were being taken advantage of. In fact they all seemed to have a good time and have gone away feeling they have a new friend and may now know of some possible treasure sites that they did not know about prior to meeting me. Would you take a perfect stranger to your treasure sites to see what they come up with? Just about every person or group I took to the bridge site felt there was treasure there and usually in more than one location.
I did not ask you or anyone else to go and drill at the bridge. You did it on your own. I will assume you are not lying about this but I have a tendency nowadays to not believe everything I am told. This is especially true coming from someone that I have never met. old man, I have invited you to my house and you did not take me up on it. Apparently you were willing to go drill at the bridge and seeing as how this is only 5 minutes from my home I will assume that you have no desire to meet me in person. You will find out that this was a mistake on your part as I am no longer interested in meeting or dealing with someone with an attitude like yours. I wish you luck in your old age. You have missed out on a "golden opportunity".
By the way, make no mistake, I am definitely a real man. Ask anyone that has met me in person. If I am wrong I will admit it on here. For the record it has been others that have done the dowsing, LRL's, metal detecting, books, newspaper articles, local legend, lore, etc at the bridge site that have TOLD ME that there is treasure at Rocky Bluff. What have you PROVEN me wrong about?
I agree with you my friend. It is so sad to know where bury treasure is and the owner won't let you dig it up. I feel your pain.If they knew that nothing was there than why wouldn't they just tell me so.
