Pirate Treasure-Trying to get a permit to dig up

You should soak the leg in the ocean water if you can. Let the little fishys nibble at it, it wont hurt it. Also continue your antibiotic treatment if you have any pills left..

Did you check to see if anything is inside the concrete plug?

Epsom salt and hot water on a wash cloth works OK. It is healing. Pills are now gone. Did not break up the concrete plug. Thanks.

The yellow spot is the center and the dead tissue will leave a small hole when healed. You might have 2 centers which would mean 2 bites.

Pic of my old recluse spider bite after antibiotics, soaking in the ocean and after using minnows to pick at the dead tissue.:

Brown recluses are worse the black widows. They are also aggressive

My Miccosuki pal Duane had been asking me when could we start putting together the dig. Unfortunately he just recently died.

View attachment 1017352 BCH-find this spot at Cloud Mountain and you will be near the treasure. I have another contact down there that wants to continue this adventure. He is also allowed to dig. If you find this PM me. I took the picture. I am giving you a chance to be part of it. Of course you may decide you don't need me.

Yes that is unfortunate. Im not doing anything on my own. I will be moving back to the swamp in August to stay in my little camper hopefully for the next 8 months. I believe I will be living and working very close to this picture by October. I know nothing about the Cloud Mountain site on the reservation other than what you and mindspark have posted here online. But because I will be working so close, I could stop by the next time you are in the area just to see what you are doing. You could come by my work station or maybe my camp if you wish. I promise to be good.

I met some very nice TN members on this thread that I may not have met otherwise and I am grateful. You may not realize there are good people here and they have helped me when I need it most. And if it wasnt for you, I wouldnt have met Duane either. Your thread has a way of bringing people together.

It appears another friend of mine Shawn Beightol along with Chris and a National Park Service employee has found the long lost Seminole War Fort Harrel that we have been searching for. You can read about it on my Swamp Gold thread. I spoke to him on the phone yesterday and it should soon be in the newspaper. He says it was a team effort and I believe it was my posts here online at TN that brought about renewed interest. Its a feel good story about preserving our heritage.

ECS and vor can sit on their high horses, lastleg on his ass (mule) and make fun of me because that may be all they know how to do. This is the Cache Hunting forum, not the Cache finding forum...

You three are great at making fun of my efforts but not so hot in giving any advice that will do much good. ECS-Please give us the details of how you have used your research skills to locate and dig up a hidden cache of buried treasure. Did you find a diary giving the exact location to dig? Did you come across a treasure map with an X marking the spot to dig? Did you research records to find out where some rich guy lived so that you would know there would be treasure buried on his property?...
You have asked that question many times and I have indulged you request on this thread relating a cache of copperBritish Pary's Mining Co. Druid 1 penny tokens dating from the British colonial period in Florida.
No dowsers or LRL's were used, nor tales of the "big ones" from treasure mags and books, just research of Florida history, habitation, and economics of the given time period, and knowing that not many Florida settlers, crackers, farmers, and the soldiers deployed in this state had vast amounts of gold and silver, much less diamonds.
Really, what I or Vor or Lastleg may have found are not germane or moot to this thread,as you pointed out,its about cache hunting, not cache finding.
Carry on.

Sounds interesting. I missed it. Where can I read about this?

Speaking of not germane (relevant) to this thread, how about all your Burma-Shave poems and your accounts of countless names, events and dates that have nothing to do with this thread. If you are going to come onto this thread to harass and try to school me I am just curious as to what your credentials might be. So your biggest find is a bag of fake pennies? Sorry, I guess I must have missed that post.

Wow BDD! That bite looks serious. I am going to post a pic of my burn. This happened on the exhaust pipe of my Harley. This happened 3 weeks ago. It's a lot better now. The bad part is I can't get in the water. The good part is Florida's maritime heritage is safe from me for now. :laughing7:DCP01652.JPG

OMG that looks worse than the Hookworm in my foot. ...as long as we are doing show and tell.... ..... I suffered for over a month because the doctors I went to here in the USA know nothing about hookworm not to mention the cost here at $200.00 a pill! I received meds in the mail from Sri Lanka for $8 for a 2 week supply that finally cured me. If I had insurance I would not have cared but man that just aint right. You really have to shop around for your meds.

Didn't say it was my biggest find, but when I posted that information on this thread, you acknowledged that post at that time.
As for "fake pennies",Britian at the time did not mint lowere denomination coins, but private sector companies did,as these "fake pennies" were used as legal tender in Britain as well as her colonies, and were used to purchase goods.
The same happened in the US,when, states, banks and some companies issued theie own currency, and during the War of Northern Aggression,Southern states and banks issued their own.
So the PMC Druid pennies are not the same as a "Chuckie Cheese" token.

The sewing pouch is not my biggest find either but its one of my favorites.

Lastleg try to take a pic with your new fangled mobile phone, send the pic to your e-mail, right clic on pic then clic save image as.. to save to your files as a jpeg and then clic "Go Advanced" to upload and post it here.

All the pennies were dated 1787 & 1788 and were in a ceramic/stoneware jar about 1 foot deep, and were dug up with an 1943 Ames army entrenchment shovel-location NE Marion county.
Cool. I used to use the WWII shovel. Heck half my camping equipment is WWII vintage. I use a Pacific theatre mosquito netting. I still use my WWII feather sleeping bag. I use a WWII gun sheath, headnet, head cover thing, I think I still have WWII food rations lol.

After having to endure all of the injury photos, I think I need a Burma Shave.

I hope to dig up a significant find. Just so you all don't forget, my remote guy also put me on a spot about 1500 feet from the church site. He says it is an even bigger pile of gold and silver. He gave me a GPS number for the exact location. He said it is buried at 12 feet. When I took the LRL guy to the area I parked a distance away and did not tell him what direction to look. Within 10 minutes he was back to my van and said there was a very large gold signal at a specific spot. When he showed me the spot it was exactly where the remote guys numbers were. I brought in the GPR expert and did not tell him where the spot was. When he ran the GPR over the exact spot he stopped. He is absolutely convinced there are some man made objects buried at 12 feet EXACTLY where the remote guy put me. I have taken him back to the site as he had sent the GPR to the factory to be serviced and updated. When he ran it over the spot again it still showed small barrel sized objects at 12 feet.

There is no reason for someone to have randomly dug and placed anything at this spot and depth. Someone purposely buried something at this exact spot. There is no way the remote guy would have any clue about this. I have a contract on this site but we have not been able to pin down a time to pursue this.

100_3443.JPG This is what the GPR screen showed at this spot. According to the expert this is a buried man-made object at 12 feet to the top of it. His machine had been factory calibrated for accurate depth readings. The skeptics can say all they want but tell me how a guy over a thousand miles away using Google Earth could locate a man made object at an EXACT spot and depth?

If anyone reading this has access to the latest, best detector technology and would like to get involved, please PM me.

BTW-Salvor6-You win/lose. I will take a half dozen spider bites over your nasty burn. Good luck with that. Take a raw egg and separate the yolk. Spread the clear liquid over the burn. This is a miracle cure for burns if they have just happened. It may be too late for your burn but give it a try.

Potential for two huge gold finds. I'm not going to lie though. I'm becoming skeptical about the church.
