Having a season 6 is a joke. What are they gonna do for another season?
I think they have pretty much run out of poop to sling.
I don't think even Jack can be enthusiastic for another season.
I will come here on Wed and read the threads to see what they don't find... OR, they finally find the Arc and Chalice and show all the World the Templars were there and dug 750' underground to hide all the worlds treasures!

Is the Kabbalist "Tree of Life" frequently associated with buried wealth? Not that I have ever heard. Why would Mr. Nolan have only placed half the stones if his goal was a Sehpirot?


Everyone also knows a geometrical cross of five stones is also a whole geometrical cross of five stones.

Why would that be the "only thing" that shows there "could be" treasure on Oak Island?
That pit has been the "only thing" for many years that has stood for the "could be"- is there a real need for another?
 

The money pit hole was the way they lowered the treasure into the cavity under the Island. At 90 to 100 feet they had a water trap and the hunters that tripped that flooded the cavity and the tunnels leading to the cavity of treasure. There is still a way to get into the treasure chamber but they will have to find the slope mines that lead under the money pit from the swamp.

So let me ask you if this is a straight down pit or the "new spiral" pit that was recently introduced?

So the slope mines start in the swamp but were not flooded by the swamp or the "flood tunnels"?
 

The Island was higher above sea level when the treasure was buried. They constructed a wall or barrier in case of storms until the miners finished the tunnels with slave labor. If you go to the lowest area to construct your tunnels under a hill you do not have to dig as deep. Plus you can go in at a predetermined angle to achieve the depth you want. A shaft is never a save place to hide a treasure without another entrance. The shaft was only used to lower the treasure. Then it became a trap for anyone seeking to recover the treasure without knowing exactly how to go about it.

Why did the brothers not disclose the appraised value of their ruby found. It seems that would make the show more than just a hoax. They have all these scientist and experts but never show any documented values of anything found. They said it was 500 years old, where are the reports. I have seen rubies that size worth from $13,000 to $162,000. So a dollar value would have confirmed that they had found some treasure. But it looked like a cheap imitation.

You didn't say if it was straight or the spiral one. I believe it was Bobby R that had the spiral shaft theory.

So your entrance from the swamp, does it go along with the maps and screens they were showing a couple seasons back when they were checking out the swamp? I don't remember who's theory they were looking into then.

The stone was not a Ruby it was a rhodolite garnet. A "semi" precious stone. Prob not worth much. They only show scientific evidence when it fits into whatever they are slinging on that particular show.
"Garnets were very popular with both the ancient Egyptians and the Romans" so this now shows that maybe Cesar or Khufu was vacationing at OI hiding all the valuables they didn't want anyone else to find. :dontknow:

I have heard a rumor that Rick has put his share of the earnings from the TV show in a chest and buried it on Oak Island. Now he can say with all honesty he KNOWS there is treasure buried on Oak Island and one day he will dig it up.....

With Season 5 Episode 18, I was shocked to see the Laginas using a “Fining Agent” to clarify the water in this enclosed Caisson.

The voice of frustration from the Diver trying to work in the residue of Goo at the bottom, and the look of bewilderment coming from the Crew said it all… Whose Bright Idea Was This?

Unfortunately…This idea may have been Mine... One that I suggested back in Season 3 to see what Borehole 10X contained in its Cavern, without having to send down a Diver.

Back in Season 3, I had suggested how a "Fining Agent" may work to clarify the Cavern of BoreHole 10X.

Marty has a vineyard and knows about "Fining".. Dump down 10 gallons of Bentonite

Bentonite has the property of adsorbing relatively large amounts of protein molecules from aqueous solutions. It also has the incidental use of inducing more rapid clarification of both red and white wines.

Next... Lower down a 360 degree camera and sit it on the bottom.

I am Confused that with Marty having a Winery that he was not aware of what the effects of Fining would be.

I believe my "Theory" would work fine to clarify the water to view the surroundings in a Cavern like 10X, but the effects in the enclosed 60” Caisson of the DMT Shaft to view the bottom would be counter productive.

Finning would have the undesirable effect of increasing the Settlement of Goo at the bottom.

If the Lagina’s desire was to determine if it was Metal or Rock blocking the bottom, then all they really needed was to lower down one of many “Underwater Metal Detectors” to obtain the result.

One was to Preserve the Evidence that they placed at the bottom of it.

Even "Today" if parts of certain Ship's Anchors, Canons, or even Bells, buried in the Cavern below the water tunnels were reveal, they would be the proof and evidence as to who were the Original Depositors.

The Freemasons were determined that this evidence would not be revealed.

Their Master Plan was to Block this Entrance by sealing the Door with a 20 Ton Granite Boulder, much like seen at Nolan's Cross.

Even with all of the undisputed empirical evidence of the hoax of oak island including Dan Blankenship’s admission on the last show, folks still continue to perpetuate the hoax with fictional stories hoping that someone will believe them....
