Oak Island the Strange, the Bizarre, and Maybe the "Truth!

77 pages and 7 years later and yet were still here, commenting on the Oak Island adventure. :laughing7:
The real treasure is how the show keeps going. Now estimated to have profited by over 100 million dollars since the start.
Yep... We are all still waiting for the surprise ending....

Regardless of the treasure aspect of Oak Island why did all of those that came before "The Story" come to THAT Island to do their boat repairs, mine salt, military this that or the other, do their fishing, etc etc... They had to sail right past lots of other islands to get there, and with it being that close to mainland, what not just go to there??
Regardless of the speculative aspect of "all of those" that came to "THAT island", there still is an obvious lack of any outside of the "stories" evidence that solidly collaborates activity before "The Story".

Good question.. My guess would be either/and

1.Easy ship access
2.Easy to control and keep eyes on slaves
3.Cheap/free to buy/rent island
4.Island being subject to different/easier laws
5.Lots of the particular resources they were looking for
6.Easy to keep locals away from the operations/equipment.

Or some combination of the above..

I can see how some or all of that is true but I would have thought they could have had that on any number of dozens of islands in the area as they went past them to get to OI.. Now granted once someone built the wharf/docks well then it was easier to dock there maybe compared to other islands but the next folks would have sailed right past the other islands not knowing that OI had a dock..

Not sure what you are trying to say. ARE you saying that you DO NOT BELIEVE anyone came to OI before the boys started digging? and that everything that has ever been found on OI is all searcher stuff?

That is NOT what I am "saying".

...and to think it ALL started in 1701 with Capt. William Kidd (or one of his crew) offering to tell his accusers of his "treasure on Oak Island" in exchange for his life...they didn't bite, and hung him anyway - twice (the first rope broke) - then placed his body in a cage on display to rot.

85 years later, a trio of young men, McGinnis, Smith, and Vaughn find a depression in the ground on Oak Island, and convinced it hid Kidd's treasure, began to dig...

...and the rest is (MADE-UP) history...

...and NO solid evidence exists that support the speculative visits of Sinclair, Templars, Capt Kidd, rogue Royal Navy officers, and whomever.

Why Oak Island?...Reason Number 1!...July 4th...America's...Independence!

The Treasure's of Oak Island follows the course of wars over Several Centuries, with each conquest slowly adding to the cumulative Treasures eventually deposited there.

From the Islamic Wars of the 7[SUP]th[/SUP] Century against the Byzantine Empire, the Christian 12[SUP]th[/SUP] Century Crusades against these same Muslims, to the final 18[SUP]th[/SUP] Century, 7 years War in which Britain faced France and Spain.

The Freemason Royal Admiralty knew that there was a grave possibility of losing this final war to the combined forces of France and Spain.

Spain had stopped all forms of Secret Societies and had already labeled and banned the Freemasons.

The Freemasons feared that Spain with its current mistrust of the Jesuits and their growing negative relationship with the Freemasons... would likely ban and seize their property.

From these fears, the Freemasons arranged in 1760s to construct the Oak Island Money Pit, near Nova Scotia, located within British controlled territory.

They used plans drawn up by Sir Francis Bacon for a New Acadia in the New World called America.

This Treasure consisted of priceless religious artifacts, gold, silver and jewels, which were accumulated by the Knights Templar then passed down to the Rosicrucians and finally to the Freemasons for their safe keeping and usage.

The Freemasons and the Jesuits added a huge share of the plunder taken from the South and Central Americas along with the capture of Cuba in 1762.

In 1762 they completed and closed off their Treasure Vault to await the outcome of this War.

"America the Beautiful from Sea to Shining Sea!"

1776, was not the first time America planned for its Independence from Britain.

During the 7 Years War, America waited for a Victor from this War and to what effect this would have on them.

Their participation in the War was limited.

France was sympathetic towards the New America and desired for its independence from Britain.

The Freemason's... American Founding Fathers hoped that America's territory could be negotiated with the Victor according to the 1609 Virginia Company's and the 1620 Plymouth Council's proclamations, which included Oak Island Nova Scotia as part of America.

When Britain won the War, it was determined by the Freemasons to wait until after they had obtained their independence before moving their Treasure out of the British controlled Oak Island.

In 1783, the British having lost the War, With America, left America and the Freemasons arranged for their Financial Treasure on Oak Island to be moved to Philadelphia, into their newly built Bank of North America along with their Religious Artifacts to be stored at Washington D.C.

The Treasure was laundered throughout their affiliated Banks in Europe to enable the Freemasons growing movement in the New World.

You asked for Proof?

The only Proof that one could accept... to change the History we presently believe in?... Is still buried on Oak Island.

This is the Knowledge left behind and the Evidence of what really took part there and as such is still awaiting our Discovery!

I suppose it is also possible that other locations in the area (along the Canadian coast) have similar remenants but that anybody who did find them was just not interested or that because nobody was looking they have not been found.

It may be that nothing found on Oak Island without the treasure legend would of been noticed or commented on.

True, if you owned one of the other many islands or was just digging around and found bout any of the stuff they have found you'd just pocket it and keep going. Sure you may search that area alittle better but without a TV show following you around no one else would ever know.. Which is a good thing when finding small treasures as no one is claiming them from you...

Still there is no evidence that any group deposited treasure/treasures over "Several Centuries" on Oak Island.
What is always presented as "proof" are a historical chain of unrelated events mistakenly perceived to be connected creating a clustering illusion known as apophenia.

I R Confused. If the allaged treasure was used to bankroll America - then why would it still be buried on Oak Island?

Which is it?

They didn't use it? They did use it? It never existed?

So far the evidence is leaning towards Door Number Three.

This ridiculous fantasy alternative history of the Founding Fathers retrieving Templar treasure from Oak Island to finance the Revolution does a great injustice to those that actually financed the American War of Independence- Robert Morris Jr (NOT related to the Robert Morriss character in THE BEALE PAPERS), Haym Salomon, and French King Louis XVI.
There are others, and NONE were involved in the fabricated tale of recovered Templar treasure that never existed from Oak Island.

Men like John Hancock pledged and lost a fortune . . . though he started with three and made back five. Brilliant businessman.

Interesting article at the below link concerts the Founding Father's wealth to current dollars. These guys were risking fortunes when they declaired independence . . . if it didn't work. And could hav stayed rich by just playing nice with Fat George.

Thank You for that post, Charlie P. (NY)This Founding Fathers retrieving Templar treasure from Oak Island for the Revolution nonsense disparages the real financial sacrifices made by the Founding Fathers and others, who put it all on the line to break from King and England to create our country.
'NUFF SAID!

Amen. It was brass b*lls combined with sacrifice at ALL levels of the population and not magic or leprechaun gold that created this country.

And as far as the Masons: One of the first political parties in the new U.S.A. was the Anti-Mason Party, because of the distrust of political bias to that organization. They were larger than the Republican Party at the time. The first "Transparent Government" movement.

All together it is believed that about nine of the fifty-six men that signed the Declaration of Independence were masons, and about thirteen of the thirty-nine that signed the US Constitutions were also masons.

Wishful Thinking...No...But...Wishing Upon A Star...Yes!

Just wishful thinking out loud.

That Star being...STAR - GAMMA CASSIOPEIA located in the CONSTELLATION - CASSIOPEIA.

That Star points to the location of the FREEMASON'S - TREASURE VAULT!
