New treasure theory?

Do you know what Sir Henry Sinclair's handwriting would look like? Are you a writing expert? What language would Sir Henry Sinclair have written his journals in? You can not answer any of these questions. I have seen Sir Henry Sinclair's handwriting about the wreck of his ship in 1398, the Saint Katherine on Dog Island in Saint Katherine Bay as he named it later. Saint Katherine Bay today is Mahone Bay. Sir Henry Sinclair wrote his Journals in Latin.

Here is a little something about academics. Bruce Willis when he first came out about terrorist taking over a building in Chicago. The Critics or so called experts said the movie was no good. My brother and I loved the hell out of the movie. Later everyone was acclaiming out great the movie was. Same thing with the old Star Trek movies critics did not care much for it when it first came out but look how poplar the shows are today. I pay no attention to the experts or academics unless I believe them to be correct. in this instance about Diana Muir's work they are dead wrong again.

Facts should not be confused with movie reviews. Facts are what can be proven to be true. Not based on entertainment value or popularity. Or what you choose to believe.

No toast, no coffee either thank you. John Wayne in the Shootist.webp

FILE UNDER: Creating History For Fun And Profit

... As for the Cremona Document, I am still trying to verify...
No need to verify if you apply the Muir Method to the Cremona story.
First- You must establish a story on how you found a handwritten copy on parchment of a diary of Ralph de Sudeley's 1178 voyage to America with Denmark's King Valdemar I that included an ink drawn calfskin map in a cave while detecting on a North Carolina mountain.
Second- It is important to mention being a descendant of Ralph de Sudeley.
Third- Build upon the story in the Cremona, be creative with the embellishments and don't forget to include that de Sudeley was a Templar Crusader in the Holy Land and discovered important Holy Relics that he brought back to England.
Fourth- Make your own copies then dispose of the alleged "originals"
Fifth- Contact Scott Wolter to look at your copies and write a blurb in the manner of "If authentic..."Assuming they are real..." which can be placed on the book to be self published.
Sixth- Self publish that book and charge a hefty price, for there is gold in the pseudo alternative history business.

The hoax chronicles continue......recorded the last season of the curse of oak island just to see the 3 minutes of un-rehashed material that refer to fictional documents like franklin refers to....

Sorry for you guys but your known history is going to be changed. "The Curse of Oak Island" is going to burst your bubble of a dream.

I don't know about that. My "bubble" is protected by the scientific method, physical evidence and general plausibility and it's pretty robust.

Divining over a bowl of water and the like isn't going to upset it much at all.

Some of the biggest discoveries have happened by accident. They did not need all of your scientific methods.

Show me the big pile of gold and impress me.

Do you know what Sir Henry Sinclair's handwriting would look like?... I have seen Sir Henry Sinclair's handwriting...
Still haven't stated where you saw Henry Sinclair's handwriting and how you knew it was actually his handwriting.

But when someone like Diana Jean Muir makes a claim of discovering these Sinclair journals that are going to change history, they need to be vetted by real scientific analysis and the historical references researched and examined by real academics, Not discarded and buried, and without these examinations by professionals, Muir's Sinclair journals just screams fraud and hoax.

Don't hold your breath expecting that known history is going to be changed by the scripted TV program "The Curse of Oak Island", or by the likes of Scott Wolter, Zena Halpern, Diana Jean Muir, Phillip Smith, and Petter Amundsen or any other quasi historian pedaling pseudo history, the only thing that these people will change is the bank account balance of the gullible who purchase their books, videos, and whatever merchandise these charlatans can produce for profit.

Hi Using the freedom of speech to cover an act of theft by deception is criminal and completely dishonest . Sad TP

I think it is all BS! I want to reach through the TV set to choke the narrator!! But I still watch every episode!! Full of doubt but fingers crossed. If not for Gary Drayton finding a coin or two dropped by someone. They would not have found ****!!! Kind of shows how bad other things on TV are.

What about English Templar Knight, Sir Ralph de Sudeley who claimed to have brought holy relics back from Jerusalem, including the Ark of the Covenant?
de Sudeley built a chapel on hos property and charged pilgrims a fee to view these relics.
The 1192 FEET OF FINES, records of land and property holdings written in Norman French, mention certain "objects sacres" housed in his Herdewyke chapel, but no mention of the Ark.
There also is a legend that de Sudeley sailed to North America on a secret mission to hide some religious documents, but with most Templar legends, there is no documented evidence that this ever happened.

That story is a hoax. It was invented by Graham Phillips for his book "The Templars and the Ark of the Covenant". There's nothing in the Feet of Fines. It's available online here: Feet of Fines: County List Go see for yourself, I have been searching for three days and read every record. Mr Phillips made it up.

Same goes for the discovery of a treasure by De Sudeley in the 1180s in Djebel Madhbah. Mr Phillips mentions two different sources in two versions of his story in my possession which is a bit weird. One is Johann Burckhardt's travel journal from 1812 about the discovery of Petra. Great read and no story of crusaders finding treasure. The other source mentioned is a work by Egypt chronicler Al-Nuwayri (Phillips even misspells his name and calls him Numairi - it's on his website like that too). Al-Nuwayri does a grand job telling you how to improve your sex life or how to deal with angry hippos in his encyclopedia but the treasure story for sure isn't in there.

Moreover, also the story of Walter Raleigh buying Herdewyke through his wife is false and no account of a treasure story is to be found in any work of William Dugdale.

Shame, cos I thoroughly enjoy his books. They just need to be reclassified. It's fiction.

Hi China will no longer except recycling from other countries. Contaminated with BS books .TP

It appears that our and the world's established known history has not been changed by a TV scripted "reality" show, but your "bubble of a dream" has burst concerning Sinclair, Templars, Pilgrims, Founding Fathers, and all the other far fetched theories about a hole on Oak Island and an alleged maybe there was a treasure in that hole.
