I did a satellite search for your ford, and came up with some amazing satellite imagery.
This is the map I found, and something struck me as being rather peculiar!

So I zoomed in, and to my amazement .......................

Yes, that was strange so I fixed it.

What a most incredible find my friend! Congratulations! This is the stuff we all dream about, I can hardly wait to read more info and see more pics of this find. For those coins to be so nice after being in the river so long is just an added bonus. I hope you find more including a gold coin or two. Oh, I love the Sharps rifle you found and the other relics too!

This is the most amazing post I've ever seen! I don't get to T-Net as much as I used to, but curiosity pulls me over on occasion. I'm glad it did tonight! A find like this is worthy of more than just the Banner. Perhaps Treasurenet should create an even more exalted way to recognize finds like this. It stands alone, about the banner, and remains until something even better is posted. I've had the privilege of finding a Bust half and a Bust half dime, and the thrill of those can't begin to compare with one after another popping out of the ground! Congratulations on the dream of a lifetime; the only downside is how do you beat that the rest of your career?
