2. The movement of the swivel pointer or rods is not powered by the devices.

You may be right about that..The theory is that it is powered by resonate frequencies

3. Makers and owners of these devices refuse to take a double blind test.

Can you tell us just what you think would be accomplished by one of us taking a double blind test ?

4. The proponent's only rebuttal is that they find what they are looking for. This, however is not being contested by items #1-3. The statement of this list is that the electronics add-ons, to what is merely a dowsing device, are not necessary, and are only there to charge high prices. This makes their reports of finding stuff a total Straw Man fallacy, and thus void as responses to this list.

Yes this is one of the many Straw man theories presented by the Skeptics…They have to make something up because there are so many people finding Treasure with these devices….Thank you for admitting that we locate treasure with these devices…Art

Ok, I have not posted one single time on any LRL thread. I just happened to wander into this area. Dont know why I stayed. Regardless. I admit, I am a skeptic. So convince me. I would love to find some treasure in the very near future. I could really use the money. So show me how I can use one of these LRL's to find treasure. Show me how to build one of my own. I need money, I dont have it to spend 6 grand on one. Yes, I am a skeptic but I do have an open mind. I am willing to be convinced. Heck, if it means I can find some treasure...I would be nuts to not be willing to be shown how.

So, how do I do it and what do I need to do it with? How do I build an LRL and what do I have to do to make it work?

I am very serious. Show me. I am willing to learn.

I would love to find some treasure in the very near future. I could really use the money. So show me how I can use one of these LRL's to find treasure.

Be sure to learn from a LRL proponent who can show the tens of millions of dollars of treasure they've located with their machines. If they were credible and performed as claimed, they would all be very, VERY wealthy people. Instead, it's mostly a few eccentrics and kooks who cannot demonstrate success.

The bad news is that LRLs are merely dowsing rods with some attached nonsensical electronics. Some don't even use batteries.

There is another type which is supposed to transmitt a signal, then you use dowsing rods to track the signal to the target, only the so-called transmitters are only low-powered, audio signal generators, and are improperly coupled to the "antennas," and in addition, the "antennas" are inversely oriented to the supposed direction of the target; so there is no way that any signal from them could reach beyond a few inches, if that.

In short, they are scams.

But there are people who "believe in" them.


The good news is, now you know. Anyone who supposedly has dowsing ability, could do just as well with a pair of wire rods.

Why do you think you can do better than Chuck Christensen who has been at it for 10 years now and claims to have invested $3.5 million dollars to 'perfect' his H3Tec, which still does not and cannot work?

What a stupid waste of time, money and effort all this LRL business is. Based on dowsing, it will never, ever, ever work.

Apologies for the impatience, and understanding the sheer desperation of some, but honestly. Don't you think if by now any of these frauds worked, we would have the clear, unequivocal evidence before us already?

It is all quite ludicrous.

We're definitely on the same side.
The point of this exercise was to demonstrate that for all the howling done by LRL proponents, none of them would be able to articulate what goes into a functioning LRL machine.
