how old is everyone here?

hey guys i was just wondering hot old everyone is because i am just getting into TH and i have found that a lot of people are older. Which is cool because of the experience but i was wondering why there is not very many younger people like me. I am 20 years old. just thought it would be interesting!

I'm 45, got a cheepie radio shack det. a few years ago, it paid for itself in entertainment alone, but also found some money and a nice silver bracelet....and a zillion bottle caps and pull tabs....that gets old. Recently someone gave me a coinmaster 6000/di series 3 that got wet when their basement flooded. Got it working now, sort of, need a speaker for it. (see my post in TECH section ifyou can help)? Anyway, have fun! Local paper did a cartoon referring to us as geeky weirdo's and old Coots! I don't care, beats video games.

I'm 29... Have always been into collecting things like sports cards & garbage pail kids cards & coins. I've always been fascinated with prospecting and MD'ing and just got use of a Micronta Discovery 2. Nothing spectacular, but it's great to have something to start with and learn on. It's great to be here with such a great community of knowlegable enthusiasts.

24 but I feel about 80 commercial fishing kills you. Been fishing for 17 years and am dam good OK the best at it. Even rod and reel did that to a lot but you have me on mding just started and looking for family legends.

Only Peg Leg & Mpfish beat me, I'm 68. Started beach combing in 1954 at Melbourne & Seabastian Fl. Use to skip cobs across the ocean until we found out what they were. lol. Started diveing & detecting about 1962 after I got out of the Navy & got smarter.
