Hey clump,

Like you, i have to guess about my age! :o

And 63, 64, 65, well, just turn around once and we'll be there, time will pass that quick! :o

I'm 16 still waiting for my first metal detector, I am waiting for it's delevery.(Garrett GTI-2500 with tresure hound) I have been into "basic" prospecting for about 1-2 years.and shall soon begin to cut, ploish etc my own gems. :)

61 and have been treasure hunting for about 25 years. First detector was a Garrett and still using a Garrett (GTI-1500.)

52 years in age, 42 years of treasure hunting. Most young people avoid this activity now because it is real work, and their not very tough in my humble opinion. Just my 2 cents worth.

Well Slingshot, you're absolutely correct! :o Detectin has got to be in ones blood. One has got to have the frame of mind to feelin thrilled about spendin hours detectin and not findin anything of value! 8)

And ya got me beat! I'm only 50 with just 35 years experience! ::)

Up until two months ago I was a retail manager. Took a 9-5 job, no more weekends. Finally last month I found my first two wheats, same yard!!

Time for silver and gold!!
