how old is everyone here?

hey guys i was just wondering hot old everyone is because i am just getting into TH and i have found that a lot of people are older. Which is cool because of the experience but i was wondering why there is not very many younger people like me. I am 20 years old. just thought it would be interesting!

46 but just got into metal detecting 2 months ago. I bought a Discovery 2000 by Bounty Hunter for Radio Shack for 40 skins from a pawn shop while on vacation. And about 3 weeks ago I ordered an Ace 250 from Kellyco. It's a fun hobby, I hope to be in it when I'm 80. Maybe I will have found a silver coin by then.

Gosh, this thread started Oct 25, 2005

50 and I feel like I'm 30

I worked out today, jogged 2 miles, did 15 reps worked my pectoral fly, rear deltoids, did leg curls, vertical chest butterfly, iso-lateral front military press, bi angular lateral row, leg sled, hip adductor and laterial pulldown, then jogged 2 more miles, swam 15 laps including 3 laps crawl, 3 laps breast stroke, 6 laps side stroke (3 each side), 3 back stroke, and finally the hot tub!

I bought my first detector June 1971, a Relco Frontiersman Deluxe for $139.45
Still have it today, haven't detected with it for 30 years, plan is to fire it up and take for a test drive! 8)

I am 69 and still going strong doing Treasure Hunting. First started when I was only 6 y.o. I found my first coin while playing on the beach. I had no idea that a silver coins turned black and used to skip them back into the ocean until one day I brough a few home. My Grandpa told me what I had. I used to ride out to the beach in Titusville with my uncle and pickup things from the beach that washed ashore from ships that were sunk by German subs. Been at it on and off for many a year. Now I am into this in a serious way.

35 -- started detecting when I was 15, life happened, started back up again in August of this year. Bought a White's MXT, but at the same time as soccer games started back up. Haven't had much of a chance to use it... Started getting more into the treasure tales of the Great Plains and would love the opportunity to take a week off and go searching! Also thought about getting a 2 box detector...
