Got A Rock you Want Identified? Post it here! gimme a good picture or 3 or 4!

Hey Dusted,
I'm new here, and was hoping you could help me out with these rocks I found. I was walking along a creek in PA not far from Delaware, and noticed an orange slime oozing out of the creek bank. I am guessing some kind of natural iron leaching process? Anyhow, these are some of the rocks I found with heavy mineralization going on. Lots of blackish purple, red, and brown looking stains. Could this be chalcopyrite, or some form of pyrite? And my second question is do you think it would be worth it to crush and pan it? Your opinion is much appreciated, Thanks Dusted #2.webp#3.webp#6.webp#8.webp#5.webp

Stone Egg HELP

I found this in the ground in the back of a shed. I was wondering if you knew what it was. Quartz? Marble? stone? it is very smooth. The lines are slightly off centered so it is kind of interesting.2013-11-30_15-28-49_771.webp2013-11-30_15-29-21_553.webp2013-11-30_15-30-03_625.webp2013-11-30_15-30-12_412.webp2013-11-30_15-30-19_128.webp

Dawnhvr, those rocks look great and interesting. Will MD go off on them? I think I would crush them and pan to see what's up inside. I Enjoy the pictures so keep them coming. I am sure someone on here can tell you more about them.

It was extremely hard to just brake a piece off of this one. I don't know if I could crush it enough to pan it. Thank u. I will let u know what I find.

Could you identify the rock below ? Smaller piece is chipped from bigger one.

Hi Dusted. Glad o see you are back. Hope everything is going well for you. A rock with closeups. Was wondering what the white, and dark minerals are and also the yellow brown veiny mineral is. Iron? Thanks
