I was rock hunting in a creek about 60-70 miles west of St Louis found some geodes and what looks like a chunk of smoked glass. What is it?

The thing is, im pretty sure ive already identified it as preseli, or bluestone, but rheres something about it thats different from the ones I see when I search for it on the Internet, and ive just been wondering why that is... any thoughts or should I find someone else to ask lolView attachment 1467937View attachment 1467940

Not in St Louis unless it was put there by a visitor. It's apparently a piece of broken smoked plate glass. It's flat on one side.Probably obsidian.
