Maybe they are clothing adornments ??? the top comes off so the octagon piece could be placed under the colthing and push the top peice in it from the outside > try this piggman on your teeshirt ;D

There are no seams for them to come apart. The copper plating covers that.

No, I'm just going to give them to the Professor just to push him over the edge. :D Blue, if you're reading this, which I know you are, be carefull what you dream about, they may come true. ;D

There's nowhere to push a knife under, and pliers would only mess it up.

Now that's another whole mystery in itself. If I could find the missing end cap that might give a clue.

You set them all with the Basketball player Facing up.

The First person pics one up & looks what is on
the other side. Then turns it back down.
then he pics up another. if it matches, he goes again.

;)

Good idea Jeff but none of the other sides match each other.
My thought was place the basketball side up, pick one up and have to answer a question about that particular sport.

That idea has been thourghly mulled over in past responses. There is just not enough evidence to support that theory yet. I am going out in the morning with my new 4 X 6 coil and try to find more that I might have missed.

Yes Could Be. Either way, I'm still confident
they are from a game.

I'm pretty sure they are game pieces, but the question that needs to be answered is what game. Only proof of that game can end this mind game. There are thousands of game manufactures out there, especially in China. None of the major ones in the US I have contacted have ever seen anything like them. The imprints are too shallow for braille.

Millwalkees Beast is working on this for me.

That's me, I'm searching sports memorabilia forums for ones that identify unknowns. So far none of their forums have that category. Still looking though.

spent 2 hours on google last night....... those things are evil, like ya said

The way I figure it is there has to be 9 pieces at the minimum. The center one and one for each of the 8 sides. So far I have found 4 and I'm going back to do a search like I've never done before to find more. It will probably be monday before I go. There has to be more there. If anyone wants to help let me know.

The reason I say monday is because on the weekends people use the field for frisbee golf and other things. On the weekday mornings you have it all to yourself, plus it's shaded.

Better yet, just put up that yellow crime scene tape and say you are looking for evidence. Well, maybe that Do Not Cross yellow tape and tell them you are looking for the old sprinkler heads.

The park is probably from the late 70's to early 80's. Before that it was a ranch with nothing but rocks and cedars, and a few rattlers thrown in. Most coins found are early 80's.

Piggman1 and BioProfessor :

I think it would only be fair to all the other members working on this, if you would both post your contacts list and keep them updated, so the rest of us don't drive folks crazy with duplications !

I believe the two of you are the driving forces on this "wild nuts " chase, but I could be wrong; there may be other members with exhaustive contact lists that we should hear from !

You know, all the guesses and wisecracks are good fun, but only provide an amusement for those too lazy to do some real investigative work......sorry about that :-* :-* and I'm as guilty as the rest when it comes to teasing. So today I decided to turn a corner and did my first serious work on this....sent an Email to: www.mjscreations.com , along with three attached pics of the wild Evil nuts, to see if they could give any information to help identify .
Now, I know someone is fer shur going to tell me I just made a duplicate contact ! lol
Oh well, what can I say ::)

OK members, I did my part today, so let's take this to the next level and do some serious work and nail this puppy !

Piggman1 and BioProfessor are excused for a much needed rest. Let the "Big T'Net Machine" carry the ball over the finish line ! Go team Go !
