I contiue to check out different angles, write different companies, and show them to people who think I am now "nuts". Hopefully Tuff Stuff will have info and end this mystery once and for all. Even my computer hates me now and I think we are all spinning out of control. :D :D :D

I sent an email to "tuff stuff" sports memoribilia with the pictures and asked if they could identify them. No reply yet. I hope it drives them as "nuts" as it has us.

Agersea, the memory game theory is good but it is hard to for me to go along with since the 4 that were found are all different. If there were 2 that matched I would be all for it.

I agree savant...

I took the liberty this evening to post the first two photos and a short explaination in a Detektor Forum in Germany, where I write a lot.

Maybe they know what it is ??

agersea :)

Yeah Piggman1, most people will hate you when you keep asking them if they will look at your nuts. ;D

I don't ask, I just show em. ;D ;D I'm about to head out this evening to find the few coins I need to break my 5000 mark. I missed it this morning by 28 coins. I will post when I get back in. Maybe while I'm out, someone else will look at my "nuts".

:D :D :D :D :D :D :D

Wise little girl you got there !!!! ;D

Don't feel embaressed showing them to your little girl. I have shown them to young kids, older kids, and anyone else who will look at them. You think some of the guesses on here are strange, I've heard some really good ones that put these to shame. I can't even write them on here. YESSSSS! I made my 5000 coin count tonight plus one. It is posted on todays finds. Next mission: Find more nuts when new coil comes in.

Well another resourse has turned out to be of no help. I recieved a reply from Tuff Stuff magazine, and this was all they had to say:

Sorry, I’ve never seen anything like this before. Because they have rather generic images, they don’t look like a typical collectible. Other than that, I don’t have an answer.

I can just picture Pigman asking some little old lady

"Have you seen my nuts?".........................POW

News Flash,
Pigman Killed today, by a little old lady with a brick in her purse.

Never under estimate the thought process of a little old lady.

LOL

Just a thought !!! :

Are the things by any chance magnetic ??

Could the broken one have lost its magnetic internal, that would explain the weight differences !!

agersea

These are non-magnetic. I think it is copper plated pewter or zinc.

Thanks piggman...

So they are not magnetic them selves...

....and they do not grip onto a magnet either, or... ??

They are sport stamps > teachers use them for rewards :) They stamp the papers, ribbons, hands, etc :) The inside held a sponge > that had the dye ;D

This is to funny !! Thank you for the laugh ;D

Can't be stamps. They would stamp mirror image or backwards on the paper. World Cup would be in reverse. Good guess though.

Ok then > This post is driving me crazy ;) I read to see if Bioprofessor has it yet ? I just knew he was on to the real thing ! The inside is hollow for a purpose > the sport motif is a clue > their octagon for a purpuse ?????? Piggman they are decals for an alien sports lovers spaceship !!! ;D Held on by spaceage glue ::)

I agree! They are not from this world.

Well you could put one "under" a piece of material and with a hot iron > iron over it >the motif would show through ;D > Like a piece of ribbon given away for a prize ;D by the teacher ;D

I don't think so.

200 replies and we are not any closer then we were when these damn things showed up and started causing blurry eyes and sleepless nights. Maybe the next step should be to contact the Smithsonian and have them declared 1 of a kind. :o
