Glad I'm not the only one looking for an answer to this quest!!!

Piggman...check out that link I posted above about the dice....they may or may not help...but it's worth a shot in the dark...and at this point....it appears that is all that there is...a shot in the dark!!!

Hope you find more pieces or something related to these things that would help solve this mystery!!!

Can't wait to see what else you get from this site.......
Happy Hunting,

I checked out the video, close but no cigar. I have been checking every angle I can think of, that is why I need, or should I say, have to go back and try and locate more of these.

I'm not convinced it's a modern race car. Formula 1 has tires bigger than nose but this thing is so "stocky." No pun intended. Can't think of a race car that looks like this. Anybody got a picture of one that matches? Maybe that will give some direction.

Daryl

I've looked at a huge number of images of vintage race cars and I can't find any without a very visible roll bar and having the rear wheel placed where they are.

Somebody please post an image.

Daryl

They are Russian microfilm cannisters disguised as game pieces, used in the 60's. ;)
Sorry,I just had to say something after watching this thread for so long (since day 1).
What does the one with the race car on it register on your machine? It looks like a different colored metal. Maybe you can find the missing "cap" when the new coil comes in? Good luck,i'm still searching too.

No writing on the car door, and reads 79 to 82 on meter, so I think it's the same kind of metal.

I bet I have sent out 100 emails to some of the older game manufactures with pics to see if they recognize them. It would have had to come from an older game, if that's what they are, because of all the "safety" regs they have on games now. You don't want to choke on one ya know? It has to be an older game because all new ones use plastics. Now I will wait and see what this turns up.

Piggman1........Why not send an Email to the FBI, with an attached photo of those Evil thingy's and let them investigate. Let's put our tax dollars to work for us on this case ! LMAO

Todd

Pigman,

I know what they are!
You know when someone says
"Well then, I think I'll take my nuts and go home."

There you are.
They just forgot the nuts.

How simple can you get.

Problem is, there is no "ONE" Olympics or "ONE" World Cup. I just received an email from the person responsible for an event that is both Olympic and World cup. When I saw it and saw it was in Texas, I thought I has this sucker solved. That was a couple of weeks ago and it was a dead end. CRAP.

Yea I went out for awhile today, but not to that spot. I'm waiting for my other coil to arrive before I hit it again. I had someone take them to a meeting tonight to show them around. None of the toy makers I have heard from have ever seen them either. Maybe someone tonight will recognize them, I'm waiting to see.

No responses on the playing field yet. With todays safety standards, I would think they are too small too, but depending on how old they are has a lot to do with that. What was safe yesterday, is banned today. Yard darts were one of my favorite. :D

They are about the size of regular, or regulation dice, with smooth sufaces all the way around. They were not connected to anything.

Well, no one at the meeting had ever seen anything like these. There were a couple of coaches there, and they didn't know either. These may be older than we think.

Hi folks !! :)

I really hate repeating myself, but I had a theory in post #13 in this MEGA thread, and I´ll repeat it, cause I still think it´s the answer:

Childrens toy !!

Memory cubes.

All cubes have a basketball player on one side and an other motive on the other. They are identical two and two on that side, and you have to memorize where they are, when you turn them. If you don´t have two identical they must be turned back (basketball) again. Then it is the other childs turn. When one finds a match those two cubes are taken out of the game. The one with most matches at the end wins.

O K prove it please.

Hi savant365 :)

As I said it is a theory !!

....and I think it is a good one....

I hope I´ll find the proof some day !! :D :D :D

It's a good theory. I've had it myself. I've looked at enough children's game sites and educational toy sites until I think I'm going to puke. I like the theory buy why the octagonal shape? Much cheaper to make them round. Why netball when it is a pretty obscure sport? Why are all the different sporting events real logos and the one that is common to all pieces a generic logo for no event or organization?

Just too many odd things.

Daryl

I sent an email to "tuff stuff" sports memoribilia with the pictures and asked if they could identify them. No reply yet. I hope it drives them as "nuts" as it has us.

Agersea, the memory game theory is good but it is hard to for me to go along with since the 4 that were found are all different. If there were 2 that matched I would be all for it.

True. That's why I spent days looking at inserts for things that needed a logo and wouldn't "spin" out of position. No luck. :-\
