Hi again folks

Here a link that might explain why the nuts are octagonal !!

This memory game for smal kids is wooden and contains of 20 pieces that are octagonal.

The text (danish) says that this shape makes them easier for the kid to turn and line up the pieces !!
(I guess seen in comparison with a circular shape)

Professor, again you have out done yourself. That is some amazing research you have been doing, and I am truely impressed. ToddB64, thanks for contacting them, I also did the same. Maybe one of us will get a response. RalphW, I will be contacting them today and see what they say. Thanks for the link. Agersea, The memory game makes the most sense so far, we just don't have any two alike to really prove that theory. Since I can only hunt from dawn untill about 10:00 in the mornings before it gets too hot, I am going to concentrate my hunting to finding more of these. The fields I have been working can wait. When the temp is going to reach the triple digits (102, with heat index of 113), working in the shade beats open fields anyway. Again, I want to thank you all for the amazing research, and links to follow up on. We WILL find out what these are yet, or go crazy trying.

Piggman1........This is in reference to my previous reply #235, on August 11, 2007.

Received "Mail Delivery Failure" message today from "webmasterinfo@mjscreations.com".

So I sent the webmaster an email today to find out if the address I used is still valid, or have they changed it.

As you are probably aware, when the incoming emails become unmanageable (an email tidal wave comes to mind lol), one solution used is to modify the address, effectively turning the spigot off ! Maybe this is what happened, or possibly a system problem. We will know when the webmaster replies.

Hopefully, I will eventually be successful with this endeavor.

I slept in today and by the time i got up it was way too hot to even think about going out. So, I spent the day researching and plotting out my searching stratagy for in the morning. I figure it will take several days to search this small area where they have all been found. The area will be gridded off in 9 X 9 foot squares ( the size of the cement slab), and searched with almost no discrimination, and ALL targets will be recovered. If there are anymore of them there, I will find them. Will keep you updated after every search.
