Your welcome .

My only actual thought to the items are they mave have been hand crafted by some tradesman in his garage to represent the game and some event.

I know 2 machinists that do extremely crafty work, very fine detailing, in their own home and with the aid of some of the tools they use on the job.

Just look at some of the old artifacts and notice the precision in them.

Lots of the ivory confiscated out of china, the detailed carvings on chess pieces.

If indeed that is the case, you may never find exactly where they came from without some kind of national exposure and someone fessing up to the fact that they made them at home.

Has the pyramids been fully explained to everyone's liking?

Just wondering,
Al

At this point and time, anything is possible.

Sorry Agersea. Got post and poster mixed up.

Myself I haven't a clue to what those things are but they are very interesting, to say the least. And with all the searching on the internet and with the Professor doing an awesome job helping in obtaining the "question of the century" it won't be long before the answer is found. Good luck!!!!

It reminds me of an old Saturday Night Live scetch where I think Steve Martin and Bill Murray in there "redneck bubba" voices saying....."What the heck is DAT????........That's a......yea .......I know what dat is..............iz one of dose............what the HECK is dat????" :P

They're steroid stashes....you've heard about people that take steroids...... they're supposed to have "Lil Nuts" ; I rest my case!

Still waiting to hear back from several sources. I went hunting more this morning with no luck. School starts Monday, and I think I will be locked out after that.

Wonder how many of the Plastic ones are buried out there?? Hmmmm. Could of been a Jack stone play off event held there

Maybe I need one of these people who's detectors picks up golf balls to come help me look. They could find all the plastic ones.

What is might easily be is a co-branded promotion between Special Olympics and the Lions Club (or another org), but that race car just might be a pair of specs. SO was my first inclination b/c the O logo is so tightly monitored in terms of trademark infringement but loaned to Special Olympics and so many SO programs use school campuses and playgrounds.

It just seemed cruel that they would give 'nut' awards to participants so I thought about it in the way a marketer might because the first impression is surely that it's a marketing promo or what's termed a 'leave-behind' (and one for you, too)...

...and by golly the Lions Club did a 'nuts and bolts' train the trainer program for SO eye health. They've had a long history of providing glasses to people who can't afford them. see http://www.olimpiadasespeciales.org...althy_Athletes/Opening_Eyes/Train/default.htm)

It makes perfect sense to me. Oscam's Razor and all that... Special Olympics covers every sport and some you haven't heard of and maybe, just maybe, a local car dealer or tire place sponsored some state or regional event if not the Lion's. And nobody stopped to think just how un-PC the nut might be. Those things happen, regretably, which is why marketers are always looking for jobs. ;-0

Or, maybe it was a big middle-school field day, rally or Junior Olympics or Boy Scout jamboree. What makes sense to me is 'who uses school fields?' And who is generally approved to do so?
Now if I could just figure out what the acer bleep means...,

Here is a close up of the race car so you can get a better look. During the school year just the scool uses the field. It is a middle school. Once the school year ends it is open to the public. I'm not sure I understand what the "acer bleep: is. Could you please fill me in.

OK heres my take on these things so far if it matters....

these things are Gonggi stones.
they represent both Korea's united in sports.
the were sold in some giftshop somewhere...event, airport, carnival,,, some public event or place where
lots of people from different countries where in attendance or pass through.
Probably came with 15 pcs.
the 2002 has a ying yang for south Korea,,,, star for North Korea.

just an educated guess with all the evidence we have so far

He'll have fun with 600 kids playing 20 guesses. :D
