HI, I have been reading this sight for years and was registered at one time. I had to re-register due to an absent mind. (forgot login name) Just had to register to reply to this one. Hope that is ok with all.
That said, the artifacts pictured remind me of something from a shoe. My children have been involved in every sport available to them and I have purchased a wide variety of shoes the last 15 + yrs. A few years ago it was all the rage to have unusual items on your shoes.
for example: spinners, interchangeble emblems, assortment of cleats, ect...
We even had a pair that clocked his/her speed.
Just a thought?

Thats funny. I did a search on all different kinds of sports shoe cleats.... they were all threaded

OK guy's and gal's, here is the latest news straight off the press. First, the Antiques Roadshow is of no help. Here is their response:

Thank you for writing to us about your item.

As you may know, the only antiques experts we have are on the road with us. Therefore, we are not able to advise you on your item.

You may want to check out our article on “How to Get a Good Appraisal” on our website.
It can be found at: http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/pages/roadshow/tips/appraisal.html.

Best of luck on your search!

Sincerely,
ANTIQUES ROADSHOW

Now for the big news of the day. I went out at dawn and gridded off the area where most have been found at. The cement square is 9' X 9', so I used it as my center and made my grids in 9' square sections. my detector was set to accept everything but iron, and I dug every target. I only managed to get 4 sections done before the sun was up and started getting too hot. I dug a lot of BS not worth the effort of digging, and found 5 coins I had missed earlier. I know, your saying get on with it and cut the BS. Well, "come up to the lab, see what I have on the slab, I know you're dieing of antici...........pation." I FOUND ANOTHER ONE! This one is different than the rest, it has 2002 on the side that normally has the guy shooting the hoop, but may offer the best clue as of yet. Here are the pictures before I run it through the cleaner.
Let the games begin!

Yea, this one kind of blows the memory game theory out the window. :D :D :D

Not shock. Just need a rubber room for a few days.

These things confirm my favorite saying, "Things never get so bad they can't get worse."

Interesting, looks like they go on top of something else. Sorry, I don't know this item.

Is there something I'm not seeing...why not the basketball with the hoop shooter side? That leaves the 2002 with the olympic rings ,world cup etc..Now is that Ying-Yang in the first 0 or is it a baseball...whats in the second 0 looks like a star maybe..Now if that is Ying Yang we have the Ying-Yang Allstar Game of 2002..Now wasn't that easy ::)
Don

The basketball goes with the olympic symbol, world cup, soccerball, and race car. The 2002 is on the side where the guy shooting the hoops should be. The pictures are the same piece, not two different pieces. We will see more when it comes out of the cleaner tomorrow.

I just modified the pictures to help tell which side is which.

That's the first time that has been asked, and the answer is no, they don't interlock.

I'd ask one of mine, but they're not talking to me, which could be a good thing. :D

Better yet, take her new to be out for a beer. That allways gets em going.

Be careful Piggman1. Giving them beer and then asking them to look at your nutz could go south in a hurry. No strike that. Could get interesting is better.

Daryl

;D I just hope Justgeese realizes that.

piggman1, being you are on the fourth page here,
may I suggest you Repost pics of all of them
on this page & maybe add it to each new page till
they are I.d.'d ?

It could help to have that Reminder of what they look like
without, going back to pages one& 3 ;)
