on my 4th hunt i find some old coin , think its old silver turkey coin is it or ?

just arived scale from ebay: so i have numbers for my hoard of silver coins i found on "medieval silver forest path"

Road keep giving silvers (1 more/25 total )
Today plan was to chek another path in same forest, but to get on that path i needed to go over my dear silver road, and i say to myself if there is 24 silvers, there must be atleast one more and there was 1 more ! ... after some time hunting nothing shows up so i moved on secund path as the plan was.

On secund path i found 1938 prety nice coin, i see that one first time so for moment i thought its gold one, unfortunatly its not but still nice one, atleast for me . thanks for watch and read! (photo on page 6)
yeah btw, i manage to get some ID on some of those silvers: 7 are sultan Suleyman I “the Magnificent” (reign 30 Sep, 1520 – 7 Sep, 1566) mint in (Novaberde, Kayseriye, Novar, Sidrekapsi, Kratova) 1 is Sultan Selim I "the Grim" (reign 1512–1520)

The ace 250 is a good machine. I've used this one for three years.

yeah it is, i cant say its not, specialy after all those coins but probably with better machine there will be more of them outside of ground

And another thing, I understand that the moderators have their criteria for posting a "Banner" find.But think about it, we are all looking for treasure of some kind or to some degree. This guy has found it. A beautiful hoard of 15th-16th century coins and it took 5 days and 50+ replies before someone finally recognized "Banner". Thanks CRUSADER! Sometimes I just don't get it.

one senior forum member give me advice to put all parts of those forest path hunt in one thread...

first "serius" find - II PART (from 20.1.2014.)

After few weeks not touching it, today i "use" good wheater, it was 15"C (59 fahrenheit) which is crazy for this part of year, usulaly is about 0 (32f) and colder here, so i take my ace 250 and after cheked some new spots, i decide to hit my "silver coin road" even i pass her already few times, i hoped to find some more silver coins, and i did!
All together was 3 hours there, and first real signal that could be silver comes in 2,5 hours deep in hunt, and it was, and soon the other comes to, with the 21 silver that i found on same spot before, its now 23 with those 2 new ones, so lets not make it to long here is the pics, thanks for reading and watching!
btw they are ottoman empire hammered silver coins dated around 1500

HI, went today again to forest, and had one and half hour before rain starts, in that time found another silver hammered akce ottoman empire coin (dated around 1500)

Miramar when did you find It , trees in pictures look like late fall early winter..?

from dec 19., when i found first one, till jan 21., when i found last one, and pictures of trees are taken in that period, we had nice and not cold winter so trees could looks like that becose of warm winter.

yeah winslow, in one part of path where silvers showed up i dig everything, as much my detector can show i dig all, so now part of ground is metal free there

Amazing find- Banner vote from me also.

Two things you might consider with the ace250 or any other detector.
One- you get more depth after it rains!
Two- Use Pinpoint Mode to recheck the whole area slowly.
I do this to recheck holes, and have had success with this method twice.

You certainly got really Lucky signing up here & finding an awesome coin right after on the same day

haha, we all made mistakes

You certainly got really Lucky signing up here & finding an awesome coin right after on the same day

and i can only add here that even to be more unbelivable that i get my detector (first ever) recently before first silver, and that first silver of 24 i found, i found on my 4 - 5 hunt ever., so im lucky or have good spots to hunt

didnt know that u have more depth after rain , but somewhere i found that in pinpoint mode u can go deeper, so i done that already, and found some of them on that way.

Not taking anything away from you finds they are certainly a great find but as Jeff said timing is just odd.

Could you or someone else please clarify all the criteria necessary for finds to be on banners; or direct me to where this is already listed?
I understand the basics, but would like to know more , specifically about the time one has be a member

u didnt get it, i know my engl is not best ... i got detector (first ever) in december of last year and i start detecting in december... and after 4-5 first hunts in my life (in december) i found first of that coins in december ... and i come here in december ... so evrything hapens in december
