Joe,s topo maps are based apoun the the symbolic trail on the trail map which means nothing. ( Its symbolic ) A journey, follow the map follow the heart. So with all do respect Joe,s topo maps are just a yarn. So why would you suggest anyone use them.

Not to "anyone". And certainly not to the many, such as yourself, who have "found it".
Only to those who are looking for somewhere to begin their search.
Joe's topo will put them smack-dab in the middle of the area where most of the characters in the LDM/Stone Map saga hung out.
It will show them where to find the places where they "“ Veni, Vidi, Vici'd” .
Just as the paper place-mats once used to adorn the table tops of the Superstition Saloon in Tortilla Flats did for many years.
Maybe that's all the stones were meant to be....an interesting and artistic table decoration with the heart as a removable drink coaster.
Mitch Waite, a friend of and believer in Joe's map (also briefly a partner/member of Joe's expedition to the heart) has written a 4 part series of articles about Adolph Ruth:

And about the Stone Maps:
