Dont tell its a secret!

Frank I was tempted to crawl in that hole...............until I saw how much debris was on the floor and the collapse 20 feet in. Could have been a stack of gold bars in there, not worth the risk.

We would have drug you by the legs, I'm just glad we all new when to quit, still feel I should have made the trip back up with Dan.

Frank,

Thing is, Eric would have carried you and the gold bar(s) out on his back.:laughing7:

Take care,

Joe

As long as the bar was not in the whole........................Bar in one hand Draggin Frank with the other :laughing7:

Speaking of dragging people out of the mountains, my Uncle Chuck was in there with a doctor friend, they got to Parker Pass and the doc had a heart attack. Chuck put him up on his back and hauled him out to the trailhead. Man weighed around 200 pounds as I recall.:notworthy:

Never know what a man is capable of.....

Take care,

Joe

For the readers this is the mine, 3 of us could look into it at the same time, roughly 6 or 7 feet across. Inside it got a little wider and between 5 and 6 feet tall with no supports anywhere in it. My guess they were chasing a silver vein that was protruding through all that loose stuff.

I volunteer to HOLD the gold while you guys do the arm wrenching, of course I will need your vehicle keys too, and about a ten second head start! :notworthy:

If ya manged to get away I would let it go, Just make sure you send a helicopter back since you could afford it :occasion14:

And my truck cleaned, detailed, and a full tank of gas waiting at the airport :laughing7:

(look under the red look line; 140 lb gold ingots)

140 lbs is a mighty big ingot John. I assume your arrow is pointing to the khaki colored rock next to the prickly pear? Even an 8 inch by 4 inch by 4 inch ingot of pure 100% gold would only weigh 85 lbs, and that would be a big ingot.

Looking forward to seeing a clear closeup photo.

By the way, I'm not an expert, but wouldn't you be able to use a hacksaw to eventually cut an ingot down to size?

To get back on track of secrets.

My angle is a little off but I THINK if I were higher up and to the right (which is possible) so the shoulder of rock on the right would be smaller, this MIGHT match up with a carving.

Melt 'em down with a MAPP gas torch and make smaller pieces.

I could tell where is the LDM , but for the moment ... is a secret .

Battery powered sawzall.
I have one, who wants to go.

The way both of us look at times, plus the way our trucks look, no-one would give us a second look anyway.
Just like the last time when we came out of the hills and back to my truck by the bar.
