DO TREASURES HAVE REAL SPIRITS

Grandmother said there was an Indian in the wood pile ,but except one uncle grandpa was stand offish about we have no proof. Great grandfather ran a general store and natives did visit. Grandmother spoke of during naughty spells going upstairs and mixing beads in their barrels. Somewhere I have some pics. Grandfather in what looks like a long shirt as a toddler and pics of a pet deer around the front porch. Lightning hit the store and the kerosene storage ignited. Great grandpa retrieved his shotgun from inside the door but that was all.His son(moms dad) wrote of his mother keeping a black bear out of the house with a broken pitchfork once. A broad axe in my possession hewed timbers of black walnut for a church's sills. Don,t recall if it was grandfather or his dad that made them and after the church was abandoned returned to salvage those sills. Mom was born out in the woods . Her sister and herself used to find beads in the sandy areas in the forest. Grandpa rode a bike several miles to nearest community regular and walked in winter till house burnt, from stove probably. All four kids ended up living more suburban lives eventually and the land changed hands. It was an large area of forest and lots of small waterways that had traffic for many generations following their courses.

Relevent, Good friend:

That's a lot of stories and details, wow!
You certainly got to grow up a lot more
country than I, very sorry to hear of the hardships.

I know my country kin had good and bad times,
only Burt had more business than he wanted,
making redwood clocks, tables, bookshelves,
etc. He once told me, that before the economy
of '76? took a dive, during the administration,
he had been so busy with orders, he was real glad,
when the recession hit, so he could take a break.

Are they aka COWBOY BEANS... HOT & SPICY...?

Howdy Rebel,

Sierra beans can be cooked to your liking, if you like them hot, and spicy, we could do that. What Don Jose is referring to is that sierra beans come from very high altitudes where there is less air, they are not packed with air like the flat landers.

Homar :laughing7:

Some of Dove on lookout, saw a roadrunner, probably
eating fallen pears over there. Didn't have my camera,
so missed it... :cross:

what corozone is saying indirectly, and politely, is that they do not produce the flatulence of flat landers/.

You DO know what flatulence is, no ?? It was graphically, and audibly, demonstrated in that picture. No sneakers while innocently gazing off in the distance, or gazing at your neighbor accusingly.!

Ha! Ha! Don Jose,

Would go well with mexican beer, Irish or Scotch whiskey, chips and salsa verde, yes?... :cross:

Yes, there is much more, than secret KGC,
silent but deadly fumes floating around.
When I'm giving these kinds of pics and posts,
then why is it, often seems like being distracted???
Like someone needing Attention...

No comments on the subject being discussed???
Got Any Better things to talk about, than that???
Any pics or stories??? Wonder why the interruptions,
but not real serious contributions, just BS??? Hmmm...

This has gotten really old, Rebel???
You really wore this one totally out. Only BORING???
Thanks ahead of time for a Kindly Spoken, actually
considerate, real, on topic, gentlemanly type response...
Not too much to ask for, I think, when one honestly
considers the personal level, of the Treasure Hunting presentation. :angry2: :angry3: :angry1: ...Crosse :cross:

Thought it to be interesting, not claiming I know, or even try
to guess the origin of them, just old, and in a curious location... :cross:

Ocean,

You P.M'd me, Opinion
based mostly on reading? :icon_scratch:
Sorry, but you didn't rain
on my parade, not having one.
You can nay say if you want, from
what I understand, but it doesn't make
any positive contribution, is my point. Any
one can be a doubter, optimists still go for the GOLD... :cross:

Have to go to a funeral today, of a man that taught me some.
He trained bird dogs as a hobby, quite successful, and well known.

Was a Good gunsmith, raised two adopted boys, who are now fine
Gentlemen. His only natural child, a Lady Lawyer...

He got me started in 35mm photography,
selling me his old Canon, w/extra lenses
over 23yrs. ago... Also bought my first
rifle, a 30/30 from him. He Taught me
how to load, clean, etc., and lent me,
his black Power .50 Cal. musket, for
deer hunt one year. I know, all will
miss him a lot, though I have good
memories, I will surely, always Treasure... :cross:
