CRISPINS CRITTERS

So,
Is there a place in psychiatric advancements with the use of music?

I certainly hope so!

Music is another "window" into understanding others.

I'm trying to understand you.

I'm sure that you understand me......

Since we been talkin' 'bout Styx and Crystal Ball,

How 'bout a song{ from an album} by Styx I no longer have....
(Ain't the interwebs great or what?)

Ah, Crap!
Here we go again with words....
DAMNED RIGHT YOU ARE, MATE!

"I'm O.K."

Hey, Hey, Hey, Hey, Eight, Skate, Seven on the Rotate!

If I could stand
Beside myself
Would I see me or maybe someone else
'Cause it's hard to please
Most everyone
When your spirit's got you on the run, on the run

They say do your best
But don't cause a fuss
Don't make waves be like the rest of us
But I can feel the tide is turning fast
'Cause deep inside I know that I can't last
Another day
Not another day!

'Cause I'm O.K.
I finally found the person I've been searching for
I'm alright
I'm feeling good about myself and that's for sure

'Cause I believed them when they said I must do things their way,
They tried to cast me in their mold
But I just had to say,
That I'm O.K.
I'm O.K. this way yes I'm O.K. Yes I'm OK!

I'm O.K.
I finally found the person I've been searching for (everybody sing now!)
I'm alright
I'm feeling good about myself and that's for sure (whoo!)

I'm O.K.
I finally found the person I've been searching for (yahoo!)
I'm alright
I'm feeling good about myself and that's for sure
I'm O.K.
I'm feeling good about myself and that's for sure
I'm alright
I'm O.K. this way yes I'm OK!

If a Friend, a family member or even a stranger shows signs of despondency,

Convince them that they're OK.
You are there for them....
Show compassion.
Save a life....

The first life that I saved was mine.....
Lead them to assistance.
Give your love to another.....
Be a "Humanitarian!"

Yes, I'm somewhat of a perfectionist when it comes to my music:

I'll allow one skip, maybe two on an album....

But, three?

NO WAY!

Becomes a "Frisbie."

That one sailed a good 50 yards into the woods over treetops!
NEVER to be seen again........

Musta had the wind.....:icon_scratch:

When I think that my guitar skills exceed my guitar, I will smash that guitar and seek better.

Always seeking to be better.......

AHEM!

Y'all in my wheelhouse now, hear.....
Careful....
I once shot a malfunctioning TV in my living room.....
While cleaning my .357 Highway Patrol Model.....

"All 6 rounds?"

"Nah. No need to waste ammo....
Just 3 or 4 to make sure...."

"Tap, Tap!"

You're it!
"All Ye, All ye, in come Free!"

Do you remember the summer games you played, in your youth,
in the neighborhood, when it stayed light for SO long?

Kick the Can!

Oh! My favorite was "Capture the Flag."

I was always a Captain.....
(Never lost a game.....Real life outside adventures?)

Your games?

Your memories?

Please share.....

Best,

Scott

And the "lightning Bugs" flash their signal to you, as Scotty, a 6 year old,
chases them to study....
FULL of wonder......

Just today, my locksmith Friend and I did a re-key job in rural locale resulting in 30 some cylinder re keying including 2 levels of a "Master Key" setup.

No problem.

We got this!

Later, the owner showed up from in a field with a pail of blueberries.

{drool.....}

I told him that I like to camp and hike that I'd be going to the mountains next week.
The blackberries are gettin' ripe and I know where they are in my mountains, but I sure don't want to fight no bear for a handful of berries...

And the butterlies were so thick, you could stick out your hand and soon perhaps a clouded sulfur would land......

I didn't have time to fully enjoy nature.......

Yet, I smelled some roses that reminded me of my Mom's Roses....

Just practicing my late-night skills of sanity....
And academic completion.

Fall Semester fast approaches, then, Christmas? Already?

Heh, heh.....

Let's try an "all nighter."

Pshaw! Das ist kinderspeil!
[Child's play.]

Let's talk about ghillies instead.....

You never really know just whom you are dealing with, do you?

Hey TGF, I solved a few problems by purchasing a small house.

Two bedrooms (one of which is my office) and one bathroom. A one car garage.

It's big enough for visitors, but not big enough for anyone to stay very long. If one of 'em stays, it's on the couch, a sleeping bag on the floor or a lawn chair.

My boat, although 40' long, only sleeps two...

Big enough for visitors, but alas, not comfortable enough for long term visits... Sorry, you have to sleep up on deck. I suggest you tie yourself to the grab rail in case we get a storm tonight.

Downsizing was my answer!

If you would like to poison your mind to sailing, I suggest you get a copy of Cruising Outpost magazine.

You can also download Southwinds Sailing Magazine for free.

Ahoy

HA! IF I lived in Fla. & had a boat like THAT... I would sail to Port Royal, Jamaica & "take in" the WANTON behavior of the PIRATES, back in the OLD "Sailing Days"; wife would NOT be amused... ALL underwater, now. STILL stuff being found & it IS a BRIT island... AHOY, MATIES!

Yeah, that would be fun, except for the going to jail part...

Governments, the same everywhere.

You know it cost's me $300 for a 90 day 'cruising permit' just to sail around the Bahamas?

Every port you go to has a handful of people standing there with forms that require more fees and fees to fill out the forms.

But, if one is sneaky enough...

Who are the real pirates?

There's an awesome new tv show coming on The Discovery Channel starting Saturday. I think it's a series. It's called Treasure Chest- Snake Island and I think everyone here would like it! It's OUR lifestyle if we could I think!!! I believe it might start July 11th but keep your eyes open for the show friends..............

RC,

Thanks for the heads up....thanks to our crew and the folks up north it made banner as it rightfully should have a very nice piece of fur trade silver.

Regards + HH

Bill

Hey folks, I seldom promote for someones recognition...
Guy hunts the north and turns up fur trade era goodies and does not blow his own horn enough to attract attention.
While content probably to just share his finds on occasion this one is special enough for banner..to me anyway.
Silver bling was a luxury and not always easy to come by/afford at the time.
Small pieces could be used as a type of change, or to sweeten a deal/trade but the big ones were different.
Special in significance and the wearer would likely have cherished it through times of plenty and times of scarcity even if in want of necessities..
If you'd be so kind as to check it out and decide for yourself if it is banner worthy I thank you for your time.
If you don't think it is, it remains a glimpse into the past.

I'll pay the bribes (oops, I mean fees.) Take me with you!

Anybody up for stump the DJ? I don't have to work tomorrow...

Lol. Not what I had in mind. Hmmm....let me think of a good one...

Okay, I got it. Take your pick from any song this group does. They are all good.

What do you get when you combine a pentagon with a gin and tonic?
