CRISPINS CRITTERS

Get some lung power back up, lug a generator uphill and celebrate!(Figuratively). 30 plus years later, this is the rainy night tune on yet another rainy night.Sure of it.This version worth it for the guitar.Lung exercise at end.

Thank You!
I had never heard that song before!

Previously, my favorite Elvis song was

And,
I bid all a fine evening as I continue my recharging by resting and a
nightcap cup of fresh ground Guatemalan coffee bean.

"Light cream and a hint of sugar, Please."

Ronnie MCdowell(sp.) does well as an impersonator but as hard as it is to credit impersonators, he gets it on that tune, which i heard first in 77 or 78?.He and another MCdowell wrote it, flip side to tribute The king is gone.
You know we,re related when there,s a stack of records to paw through!.

OK.
Quick bit of trivia about Toto.

They were the back-up band for Boz Scaggs., Steely Dan, etc.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toto_(band)

I like 'em 'cause, "Toto, We're not in Kansas anymore, are we?"

Best,

Scott

A Toto song from the previous posting.

One story tonight from Uncle Scott.
It's not really a happy story...
So if you don't like unhappy stories,
Gloss over this posting....

I was living in Georgia and got word that my Mom was sick.
She had the cancer.

I immediately packed to move back to Kansas to "be there" and help out.

I shoved as much crap as I could in my little Subaru and me and my cat, Caesar, headed North.

About the time I hit Steeleville, Mo., about 3 am, in a driving rain,
I blew my transmission.

A Pastor and his wife passed by, but backed up to me.
They took me and Caesar to their home that night.

The next day, we went about searching for my best options.

The best option at the time was for me to take a Greyhound bus to Lawrence. Paid for by the Pastor.

One problem.
NO animals on the bus.

I remember crying that day, as I took Caesar to the Animal shelter....

2-3 weeks later, when I was finally able to afford to go back to Steeleville for my car, I went to the shelter to get Caesar and they told me that he was no longer there....

I cried again.

Great book! Great Movie! A day in the life...psychologically gripping. One flew east, one flew west, and one flew over the cuckoo's nest.
