Thanks Sguiggy, she's something special and a very avid detecting partner in the bush who's ears are a great benefit for alerting me to animals. Here's a picture of Saya and her buddy Blue on the ice.

Folks,

Not nautical type song but kind of thought it fit our groups focus....

Old Crow Medicine Show - We're all in this together.

I'm only 2 early mornings until 2 solid weeks in the bush with the new water machine, I have a river and a constant reoccurring dream to explore. I'm bringing the wife's hand me down digital camera for the tick filled adventure to the very old fishing hole where some fish may still be in waiting... The water will be high with the recent rains, I'll just have to look and listen to the "Higher Ground" by the Red Hot Chilli Peppers then cast away.

Chris,

See you are into "hardwater fishing"....Some of the best tasting y, perch, come out of the Lake through a whole in the ice. Don't know what your rules are there, but after the freezer is full, I can get $1/lb. live weight on the commercial market, here and in NY. The buyer is from Quebec, so wondered if you too are able to do this......a good day avg. $100.

Crispin, Just checked my freezer's supply of chicken, and they contain both, "right wing, and left wing", so perhaps I'll rustle some up tomorrow:dontknow:

"We're all in this thing together
Walkin' the line between faith and fear
This life don't last forever"

Some powerful words....

Folks,

Christopher Cross - Sailing.....you folks will be getting seasick before I run out of nautical tunes....lol...

Bill, you have really out done yourself tonight! I love that song! It always relaxes me, I have it on cd in my Wrangler at all times and it is usually in the radio. I listen to it when I am stressed out. Which happens to be all the time! LOL!! I believe this song was the biggest hit of 1980?

AS a sidenote......for the first time, returned to pg. 1 of this thread, and sped read all 232 pages, sorry I joined so late, missed a lot of fun.

Gary,

Kind of funny when you think of it....Crispin started it as a tongue in cheek exercise and it just grew from there....go figure.

Not that it makes any difference... but I think the original idea was born in PMs between Crispin and I discussing creating a new wolfpack inspired group (minus the fear). I had originally suggested we call it "Spart's Farts". :laughing7:

I have been very busy lately; sorry to not be available for DJ requests....

I went to the college early today to re-apply for my Scholarships, check on this Fall's semester textbooks,
printed a sample flyer for used textbooks that I have for sale, got the flyer approved for posting campus-wide and met with the Honors Philosophy instructor.

Found out that not just one book is required, but SIX!
He directed me to the online syllabus...

Sheesh....

I sure hope those Scholarships come through this semester....

Best,

Scott

Jerseyben, My Friend,

Though I wholeheartedly encourage new "Groups,"

As a member of the original Wolfpack,
I strongly advise against infringing upon the memory of Tom Tudor and the original Wolfpack.

Perhaps your "tongue-in-cheek" proposal is in jest....
or your idea is to create a group with more levity.....

Please keep in mind that the original Wolfpack should not be infringed upon or made to appear
illegitimate.

My Best Wishes,

Scott

Starting a thread of like minds is not an issue as long as name does not resemble wolfpack or reference it.

And now,
for many of us,
it's just another day....

Best,

Scott

And,
Some days,

You feel like you're tied to the "whipping post..."

Some good ole Southern rock for y'all's enjoyment!

Best,

Scott
