And, a fractional currency note from 1845-1849. Twenty Five Cents. Before the Civil War.

I am pleased with the prices that I negotiated for these notes.

Scott

cool notes the last one is the coolest

Thank you, Friend.

Currency collecting is expensive!

I talked with others today about obtaining a $1000 note.

Of course I'll be picky because they don't come cheap....

When I get one, I'll post.

Be Well.

And,
I saw an Ovation for sale today.

I want it!
I strummed a few chords and nearly cried as I reminisced....

I put it back on the wall, gazed at it lovingly and then, as I turned to walk away, I softly said,
"I'll be back for you."

The last time that I played an Ovation was on stage.

When I was a kid, I had a perfectly mint 1863, 3 cent piece......

The nicest looking coin i have is a 2017 uncirculated Silver round. my oldest coin is a 1898 IHP

Folks,

Managed to get out and detect nothing special just a bit of clad for the coffee jar. Still nice to manage to swing the coil before the cold weather.

2GF,

Thanks I recently joined a coin exchange forum. They had a raffle on the weekend and I bought some of the slots and managed to win 2 silver 1 oz coins & 2 1 gram gold coins.

Since paypal were having a special promotion to support some micro loans to people from developing countries I decided to share my good luck and contributed to the cause and paypal matched my contribution for another donation.

I like the idea of loaning money rather than giving charity so the assistance you're giving is an investment so these people can support themselves rather than relying on handouts..

It's better to teach someone how to fish than to give them free fish so they can become self supporting.

Great find there Uncle Bill!!!

We got our socks beat off us tonight. But it was the best game ever. I asked coach 4 days ago to let my 12 y/o try to pitch. He caught an attitude with me. Oh well so tonight we were down 12-0 and one of his former coaches told his coach “give the kid a chance, he can’t be as bad as what you have now.” So he put my g/s in to pitch. 6 pitches, 3 outs!!!! First pitch hit back to him he throws the kid out. 3 pitches, second out.......2 pitches hit to third baseman, throws him out....... then we got 4 runs. You see what the coach didn’t know is that we practice baseball and VISUALIZATION EVERYDAY!!!! I want to ask his coach, how does that crow taste!!!!!
