I deliver pizza because military retirement don’t cut it. Once I called on customers who sent their seven-year-old son to pay me. As he approached the screen door, I noticed he was carrying a check in one hand and two dollars in the other, which I assumed was my tip.

To my dismay, he pocketed the bills before handing me the check, which was for the exact cost of the pizza.

"Could that have been a tip?" I asked, trying not to sound accusatory.

"Yep," he replied proudly. "Not bad for just a walk from the living room and back!"

Well I just got slapped again. I deserved it. What’s in these packages you got? A backpack for the dog and a new diving hood. Really you don’t need any of that. Oh really like you need $100.00 a month of makeup........ trust me, it’s not working...... SMACK........ hehe

Thanks for the chuckles....the washroom I mostly use in the basement has my shaving gear and toothpaste, brush, etc...

The upstairs washroom which my wife mostly uses looks like a cosmetics counter and as you say at the end of the road all that stuff does very little to keep the effects of time from working it's magic....lol.

Guys, these 12+ hour days are taking their toll....
Yesterday and today I went in at 6am.
Something about some scheduled inspections from the EPA and the County Fire Marshall....
And tomorrow I'll be there at 6am again.

Today, I replaced broken risers in 2 different jacks, and brought 3 other jacks back to life that were in need of my touch....
5 minutes before I was going to clock out tonight, After 13 hours, while logging my day's repairs into the computer,
Johnny called me and said that he had just become aware of 3 more jacks crying for ole Scotty....
I said, "Johnny, I'm beat, but if you need me, I can stay even longer for your guys. You know that I got your back..."
He said, "No, go on home and rest up. You'll need it for tomorrow."

Tonight, I have had just enough time for a couple of shots of George Dickel and 2 beers after mixing up a meatloaf and putting it in the oven.
Also have some baked scalloped potatoes and spinach on the menu for tonight's dinner.

While the repast is cooking, I decided to try my luck in another Poker Tourney....

And, after 9 started the tourney, it was down to two....



And then, three hands later....



My enjoyment of playing poker for play money is waning everytime that I play.
The satisfaction of winning play money is growing weak.

I REALLY need to see about playing for real money.
