CRISPINS CRITTERS

Once upon a time, I was the nerd kid that you would find pleasure in beating...
Now, I dare you to mess with me.
I can kick your ass or lead you to knowledge beyond your wildest dreams.

Your choice....

"Choose wisely...."

And, let's continue the Moody Blues with "Isn't life Strange."

And, when the book of life closes for you, as I have seen it so many times before of others,
What will your last deed be?
How will you be remembered?
Will you be known for benevolence?
Perhaps compassion?
Will you be known for the love that you have for your fellow Man?
How?

I do not expect an answer...
I wish for a promise of hope for all humanity, Peace and Goodwill to all....
Perhaps we can discuss Philosophy in depth another time....

Think about your passage....
As I have thought of my own....

Surely you will leave a legacy....
Life is fleeting.
Not yours to own...
Only yours to enjoy for a brief moment....
Make the most of your life!

Scott

So, Shall we have that discussion of philosophy at this time?
I'm ready.

How shall we begin?

Altruism?

Life? Death?
Perhaps an intense love that you once had, like me?

Speak before the breath of life wanes....
Doth one not care of their future?
Perhaps of fortuitous gains?
Gains that I speak of yield not gold nor silver but riches greater....
Knowledge to carry for one's lifetime....Dig?

I'm open to all ideas.

Perhaps we all may learn of new possibilities...

Always one to learn,

And, tonight, my choice is.....

Soon, within a month, I'll be eating MRE's, camping beside an unknown creek, hiking new trails,
waking to the Sun's glorious greeting and grubbing for gems in locations that I have never been!

Can life get any better? :notworthy:

I have panned for gold in Colorado, South Dakota, Georgia and South Carolina and found gold in all!
I have been to the "Crater of Diamonds" in Arkansas.

I am an adventurer.
I am a treasure hunter.

I’m in NC in a log cabin with 4 of my grandsons. The 4 y/o said Zaes Said gpa, I’m only afraid of one thing. I said what’s that? He said “ Chucky” haha

Can’t sleep. Going for a swank around the lake. Goodnight all

After hours of exhaustive sorting and listing, I'm nearly at 10,000 coins to swap on Numista!
And I still have another 40 some pounds to further sort and list!
When finished, I'll provide a list of Countries represented from the 55 pound shipment.
Right now, I'm working on a coffee can full of UK coins....

numista nearly 10,000.PNG
(The tab that says, "Coins" is misleading...I have thousands more than this. That tab only represents coins that I have, as a resource of my personal collection, and is in no way near the total, as I have not listed all of my personal collection....)

Had a guy from Portugal message me yesterday wanting to do some swapping.
He wanted about 138 of my coins.

I checked his swapping list and he only had about 250 coins to swap.

Really, Dude?

He had nothing that I wanted or needed.

However, I was gracious and replied, "NĂŁo neste momento, amigo."
Hope all enjoy their weekend!

Best,

Scott

Scott, gold mining is a favorite hobby of mine! Although I rarely get a chance now as I live in Maine and no longer in California, Oregon, or Washington as I used to. I can remember doing a clean up in southern Oregon on a wooden deck, and dropping a small picker! I heard it hit the wood decking but never found it. I think it fell between the boards!!!!🤬

Tgf, hope your having a blast! Did you take the boat with you?

Alright, sooo....after about a week of discovering just how difficult it is to put our new baby (strapped in his car seat) into the back seat of my 2010 Wrangler 2door I finally snapped and had enough!!! Yup you guessed it. I went jeep shopping with my wife and two boys last weekend. This time for a four door wrangler!! (My wife told me to get a four door the first time) Lol. I ended up buying a brand new 2018 Wrangler JK Unlimited. I even broke my lifetime devotion to stick shift and went for the automatic transmission!!! Unheard of for me!!
Dealer swapped over my Finns and tires, along with my front winch and custom bumper. Now I just need to get the windows tinted, and some custom fit neoprene seat covers. Already installed trailer hitch and wiring, lift kit, and factory floor mats and door threshold covers.
Even though this will remain a summer only vehicle as the last one was...
It’s awesome having four doors and a full size trunk! Lol

Yep, I do believe that you could ride that jeep into the mountains where I like to go camping and hiking.
There are some bridge-less creeks to cross that your new jeep would easily negotiate.

Next time you find yourself around the Atlanta area, let me know.
I got 4-5 gold pans, a sluice box and knowledge of where to find gold around Dahlonega!
We could easily make a week-long adventure!

Hope you are well, my Friend!

Best,

Scott

Caught 14 Crappie today!! Played some basketball, took a bunch of kids kayaking!!! Searched for Bigfoot!!! Found some cattle, chickens, goats..... told the boys if they milked the Bull he’d be their friend for life!!!!!! Negative on my boat Drsm. This lake isn’t big enough. Taking my boat out when I get home........ missing my dog badly!!!!!!!

Will do, a prospecting trip in Georgia actually has been on my mind for a while. There’s really nothing as exciting as finding gold, especially when you can see the gold in the sluice on the ribbed rubber matting!!! Yes I do believe the Jeep would do well on a prospecting trip.

Dram love the Jeep. Uncle Bill love Chuvky!!!!! Johnny you ok bud?????

The Veteran Job Fair is now a reality!

https://www.dol.state.ga.us/Access/...rs?eventIdentifier=2018-05-03-10.22.11.564745

I helped to get my Company represented! :hello2:

The Job Fair is this Wednesday, the next day after Veteran's Court.
I will talk with the HR Director on Monday, and the Vet Rep at the Department of Labor about attending to help and also talk to Shannon because the scheduled time is when I'm supposed to be working.
I see no problem with attending and helping because Shannon is most flexible with my schedule.
I once asked him if my being a Vet influenced his decision to hire me and he replied, "Absolutely!"
I'm sure that he would allow me to attend the Job Fair and let me make up the time the rest of the week.

-------------------

This Tuesday at Veteran's Court, I will stand before the Court,
with the Vet's that I mentor, and lead in the Pledge of Allegiance. :icon_salut:
I will then mention the Job Fair.

And then I will hand out "Goldfish" snacks after court, to further induce the guys who need a job to attend the Job Fair....
And, of course, I'll help any who need assistance with their resume.

I purchased a whole case of these awhile back, for just such an occasion....

For once, I'm hoping the weekend to pass quickly in anticipation of the coming week!

Best Wishes, as always,

Scott

As a side note,
Also scheduled to participate in the Job Fair is "Kipper Tool."

I received a few Veteran Scholarships from them when I attended College for my Degree.
A great company that Recognizes Veterans and rewards them for their journey forward.
They recognized me.....
I have since patronized them with several tool purchases.
I look forward to meeting with their Representatives.

Nice rig dieselram!
No mini-van and black socks with sandals for you ....Yet! L.o.l..

Thought of you the other day when a youngster pulled out in front of me with a dog of a truck with stacks and tried to roll coal on me.
Too much boggin and to little grunt out of the hole on his part and I wasn't slowin down much so he got rollin better instead at the almost getting helped along point , but I got a good laugh out of it. Maybe he did too...
