Is there enough gold embedded in the clay to be picked up by GPR's or whatever high tech equipment you guys use?
No we have nothing to detect that small amount of gold , we sent the clay to Mahaffey Laboratory in Curwensville to run the test. It cost $700. in 2009 and that was the last time I had it checked out. I don't know how much is down under at the site but its not worth working with DCNR to find out. WE deal in large amounts of gold ,silver, gem stones, etc.

I have spoken to the gas and oil companys about the blue gray clay and they have seen it in their core drillings to.

The nearest borax to that cave is in southern New Mexico. No North American natives every smelted ore. Iron, gold and silver together spells sulfides - which require smelting.

Not a gold, silver or copper mine. Just a distraction.

No gold bars.

I am willing to wait.
I can agree with that, its just we found the clay and thought maybe it was a mine. Water was needed to pan the clay and we had water at the site. I had a lot of silver and gold readings and if this was a mine then hay that could answer why the readings of gold and silver bars show up. Now we wait

In this link it talks about the Maya being in New Mexico and what if the clay was taken down to that area then smelted. They paid a high price for the blue gray clay for pottery so anything is possible .https://www.history.com/topics/maya

a good link about blue clay paint Maya

Update / I just remembered the dark Blue Clay had thousands of little White Ball's in it , They were easy to see against the dark blue clay. I don't know if the Blue Clay was made from rusty artifacts buried at the back of the cave or if the cast iron drain pipe overhead had something to do with it. But when you broke open a chunk of it, it was GREAT TO SEE THE COLORS in it.

We believe that you were searching for Rebel gold. Did you or did you not found gold? If gold was found, what is your percentage?

FK, re: rings.....they may have been a safety feature of the trap to prevent loss of fingers. JAT

As I understand it from other members, the federal government owns all Union gold and treasures. That is why the state call in the FBI. If gold was recovered, the FBI took it all and turn it in to the federal government. Finders Keepers stated that he had no contracts with the FBI, federal government and or the state government. Not a good thing. All full and part time treasure hunters have written contracts with the lands owners and others involve. With no contracts, we get screw like Finders Keepers got screwed. I do not know if any gold was found, the federal government got it all. I do believe that the FBI stated that no gold was found, and we know that the FBI never lie. Keep tune. I do enjoy GoDeep great interesting comments. Keep them coming.
#973. I believe that if the FBI found the gold, it would had hit the TV news and newspapers in Pa. Finders Keepers had no contracts with the state and federal government, so if gold was found, Finders Keepers will receive nothing.

The state called in the FBI :laughing7: we were working with the FBI 2 months before they showed up on March 12.
Why did the state called the FBI in when you were working with them. Why did you contacted the FBI when you know that if gold was found, they would turn the gold into the federal government and you get Nothing? That is what is the story is worth. No gold was found. End of story.

OK Good work, I did post we found Blue Green Clay in the cave, and Yes there is iron, gold , silver in it. and its a easy process to remove the gold from the clay and yes the Indians could of done it. Dry out the clay, crush it up and add borax , heat it and the gold and silver will come to surface in little bubbles, then just pan it to separate it. Find Blue Gray Clay and have it tested for amount of gold before you go crazy. I did say this could be a mine.

Borax does act as a flux for gold extraction but I am unfamiliar with the process you are describing. This time I am not arguing with you but could you possibly link to your source of this process.

I used Borax once to remove gold from black sand that I could not separate in a pan.I put the gold, black sand and borax into a crucible melted everything then dumped into a cone shaped dye.Crushed the cone shaped hard black glass cone after it cooled.Gold had sunk to bottom of cone and was easy to seperate.....no panning needed.

I am confused why the precious metals would float to top in bubbles because they should be the heaviest thing in the mixture but will concede the Borax may may be the catalyst that makes that happen.

Read post 944 about how the FBI ended up at the Dents Run site and then go back 5 posts and read how the FBI ended up at Dents Run.

I don't get what you are saying, I did not say the state called in the FBI, Honest Samuel did, I was making a JOKE :laughing7: about him saying it at #937. Did you read his post ??? HE said it not me. Please stay on track and I will answer your questions. I am done answering Samuel's questions.

This is in direct conflict with a multitude of messages you posted, which eluded to the fact that you “found” something and if the FBI says no gold found... then we have a problem....not signals, but found something 4 tons..5 tons..maybe silver.
Sniff sniff

It took exactly 5 posts in this thread for it to change from the State brought in the FBI to FK got them.

Now all we need is some type of word salad combined with some smoke and mirrors to explain this discrepency.

FK did not say he brought in the FBI, Honest Samuel said that.

In post #937 your the one who said the state called the FBI, FK did not say it.

I think the people posting on here would make a MUCH better tv series than another one about Confederate gold. With all that drama I would be excited to tune in every week. lol

Lets try this again, The state did not call in the FBI, We called the FBI 2 months before the dig date of March 14th. We been working with the FBI on site and DCNR knew nothing about it. And that's all I am going to say for now.
