Basic signs and symbols you have found

Re: Basic Spanish signs and symbols you have found

First off not to miss lead you, I am still new at trying to unravel different symbols. As to the shadows symbols
being dark in nature I would tend to believe you are close to what ever the trail lead you to.Are there any other
marks or symbols to tell you what you might be looking for.[ treasure rooms, harts, dill holes,ect.. ] Any thing to help
get a better aspect of the meaning of the dog and dragon. We know the dog does in one way or the other represents royalty, mostly a trail monument. But is it leading you to a treasure room or just the area were the
mine site might be. How big are they and check out the direction they are leaning, or might be looking at. Again just my opinion with no pics it's hard to tell. I have a shadow owl about 15ft from an entrance of a room and a black duck head 30ft away. Will not dig there to big of a death trap , life is to short already. Hope the best for you!

What does the shadow dog and shadow dragon mean? Am I close or not. Thomas

I have seen many different kinds of dogs.
The first thing you need to do is figure out if the "dragon" isn't a type of dog.
Poodles are especially associated with the royal caches,
The king had poodles and designated them as royal dogs.
The face of a poodle can take on many different shapes due to the different grooming styles.

Several dragons I have been shown over the years have turned out to be poodles.

Re: Basic Spanish signs and symbols you have found

In post #1204 it shows a shadow dog and above it a shadow dragon. Hadji so cleverly spotted it. I had missed it. On this site there are so many signs that it is truly astounding. I have not been able to go up on top of the mesa where there are probably more unfound signs. I feel that sometimes this area is a yard of signs. I do feel that there is a treasure or was there at one time. There is alot of rock above this area that would suggest death traps galore. I like being on the top of the ground and have no wish to be under it, alive or dead. I'm looking at a 2 box detector, but do not know which one to choose. Any ideas?

Re: Basic Spanish signs and symbols you have found

There is a representation of my ideas in 1205.
the light creates many shadows as the day progresses.
the things that don't change are the things we often miss.

I am the only one to mention the face that leers out of the wall.
It seems to hapily do so.
quite clearly a sign in your face.

look a little closer at what is there and not imagine what might be.

Re: Basic Spanish signs and symbols you have found

After rereading my post from yesterday,
it sounded like I was being a little short.

I am not saying these things to hurt anyones feelers.
I do notice however that from time to time,
we reach for signs and symbolism that seem to exist in a crowded situation.
I find myself doing it form time to time as well.

We can either chase clouds or the actual signs that will show us a trail.
We are smart enough to discern the difference, without feeling slighted.

Re: Basic Spanish signs and symbols you have found

Here's a face for you. Not a rock that looks like a face from the correct angle. Not a face that you have to use your imagination to see. A real face - carved by man and weather-worn by time, but unmistakable in the mind of the later searcher looking for it.

Re: Basic Spanish signs and symbols you have found

Its hard to see the context when the pics are so large and have to scroll all over. I have to download them then resize them, then take a look.

No shadow expert..they so very often seem indefinite to me. But If these are artificial..i do like a few of them.

The yellow arrow..I can't help but think at right time of day the shadow would look like something else of interest. Just imagine the shape of the hollow and how that outcropping on top would throw a shadow. :read2:

The green - well looks like a dragon head to me. But a lot of things looks like dragons to me lol One day Thom will be getting a tattoo that says "I luv dragons" I vow.

The red arrow. I like that shape very much if it is artificial. :icon_sunny:

The face and pointer Thom pointed out earlier i see too. I just had nothing to add except a "me too!"

Re: Basic Spanish signs and symbols you have found

Thomas,
I must say there really is a lot going on in this picture.
BUT... There is a mixture of the antient and the Spanish that needs sorting.

Step back,
look at the dragon shadow ...
it is an eye for an antient face.
The carved face is the Spanish one.

Please don't ask us to solve the clues for you in these threads.
this one especially as it is an educational one.
I am quite pleased to give you the clues that will help you solve it if you will read the rest of the threads in "Marks and Signs".
I didn't start this to do the work for you. But to help you think for yourselves.

I am not saying this to only one person.
But to Many who seem to think this is here to give them the edge ...

They already have that edge.
I can help sort out the clues and will hapily give the clues to see their chase to a conclusion.
Please read the other things available here in "Marks and Signs".
