Would you want to be on your own?

I think the 407k miles didnt help any either lol.

I had to sell my wrangler before I moved to GA. I built it frame a bare frame, it was my only vehicle for awhile and the salt destroyed it!

Mine is a 2010 I bought new. It has 22,000 miles on it and has been garaged every winter. Never seen snow. Changing a frame like you did is major surgery for sure.

For sure it didn't help. Frame is awesome, cab corners and rockers are shot.

lol Like a gocart on wet grass I bet!!

Excellent power to weight ratio though.:laughing9:I use to have one.My battery died one time,I could push it with one hand jump in and pop the clutch.Think they weigh in the neighborhood of 1500 pounds lol.

Jeeps aren't bad! It was just like a big model. lol it was a 94. and very easy to take apart!

How did you lift the tub off the frame.

Yup,I'm finding out the rockers are the first thing to go in a Taurus.Yup figure your truck went around the world 16 times :laughing7:No doubt it had something to do with it:laughing9:

Luckily I'm not married so hopefully I'll never find out:laughing9:

lol!! I did it by myself! A bunch of 2x4s, a come along, ratchet straps, and a floor jack. That's how I got the old one off. I got a frame and another tub from virginia that was spotless and put it on the same way. but after driving it in the salt a few years I ended up with what I started with!lol
It truly is a shame what the salt does to vehicles. I am deciding how I am going to lift the cabs. Probably just going to block the cab up and roll the frame out. I got a nice extra cab from south Carolina so its body is going to go on half my chassis as I'm going to split the frame and make it the correct profile for an extra cab.

I can gun drill and rifle. "AROOOOOO". No more fear, power, and control.

I was looking for somebody to make a cylinder for a 1858 remington new army.I want to fire either or both cowboy loads and BP loads.Basically do a cartridge conversion.Talked to one machinist when i was painting his house. He wouldnt do it,he rather make parts to rocking chairs:laughing9:Waste of a computerized milling machine if you ask me lol.

You have some work ahead of you! Blocking the cab up and pushing the frame out will work You just have to get it high enough! I don't know all frames but some are really hard to weld!! The metal just blows holes! Just a thought if you haven't already thought about it!

This particular frame is just mild steel. I am splitting it at a factory weld right behind the front cab mount and sliding the rear section of frame from the extra cab truck into the front and rewelding it. It should appear factory when I'm done.
