Would you want to be on your own?

In a survival situation would you pack you and your family up and get as far away from population as you could?
Yes but only within a feasible distance from where I lived.

I'm just curious. I read some survival articles and cringe! Some other questions I personally think about.
One has to have a firm foundation for determining truth. This way you can filter out the hype from the "at that moment" feasibility of your actions. In other words, when reading "survival" articles you need to be able to eat the meat and spit out the bones.

Would I be able to take another life?

Would I be willing to steal?

I wouldn't really know until it came down to it!!Some people I talk to make me think they just look at it like a fairytale. I think the first people that will get hit are the people that have stockpiled!
That would be the people who advertise their "stockpile".

Food
Ammo
Gold
etc....
Water,Shelter

So.......Would you rather be out on your own in the middle of nowhere or with a large group?
I would personally rather be on my own [or with a handful of people] in the country.

Only problem with that, not that i'm putting it down.If I were the one holding the gun,I wouldnt be getting that close lol.

But from what I saw at the home I was at, I don't think they realize how it would really be! I don't either, I'm not saying that at all. I do think they made into a look what I have and just had this fairytale vision of what it would be like. More than really thinking about the reality!

Are they armed or are they basically treating it like its going to be one big indoor picnic lol.

Oh god, just like I told you.Buy it and shove it in a closet:BangHead:

Reminds me of the people who drive a car yet have no clue on how to change a flat.:laughing9:

Thanks guys!!! I might have made my comments too general. But from what I saw at the home I was at, I don't think they realize how it would really be! I don't either, I'm not saying that at all. If you want to know what it is like, I will tell you, my friend. It's been almost two decades since I seen the truth nature of "humanity", And I still wake up screaming in a cold sweat. The only salvation I have is the woman I married, She has a set bigger than mine.

Hey MadMachinest,Do you still do any machine work?Milling etc?

OK, now onto more important issues. What is for desert on the first night of survival? :laughing7:

Red, did you every get that Taurus on the road?

Yup the taurus is up and running.
Excellent!
I am reluctantly starting a major rebuild on my old Dodge diesel at the end of the month. It's going to get cut in half and change from a regular cab to an extra cab.

I have the extended cab. 4x4. but mines not a real truck! its gas. lol

You could always drop a diesel in. If its a second generation Ram its a bolt in deal.

sent from a potato...

Yup ended up putting about 1500 into it ouch. Most of it labaor,I hate working on cars in the snow. And some tools I didnt have so no choice.Found a decent mechanic,he gave me breaks,he would let me owe him.I always paid him when I said I would,so no problems.Still needs a few things here and there.Quick little S.O.B. for a station wagon. That will keep you busy for a while lol. While your at it drop a blown 440 C.I.D. in it:laughing9:

440? I can't roll coal with that Lol! I am waiting until all danger of snow is over so I can take my wrangler out of the garage. Don't want to get salt on it. As long as truck is done by fall I'm good.
