I hear from numerous sources that there is a piece out in deeper water, and I see Polly-L on-site. Can anybody tell me the maximum operating depth for the Polly-L to setup? Can it work in 35 feet of water?

The Polly L can work up about 50' if there is no strong currents and if the legs are setting on good hard bottom. It can also use the anchor approach if necessary like any other vessel.

Thanks for the reply. Did you work on Polly L at the Melbourne Beach Radar site? I hear that was about 40 feet. Wish I could a been on that job!

I did for a short time, we were a little deeper, about 50'. We tried to jack up out there but the clay bottom was soft soft we just kept sinking so we worked from a small skiff.
