WHO WANTS TO DIVE FOR TREASURE

hello.
i am very new to this exciting world of high adventure, and with no experience.
been a dream that was put on back burner and the element turned off...
but now....only a part time job and lots of time.
i am going and inrolling in a dive school up here in Canada. to recieve some acredited liceince to do what you do. "dive". or drown .
i will probably spend the summer doing so...but i am looking for some new friends or someone to teach me what it is to dive . will your company allow new divers. i want to learn ....so maybe the summer of 2009 if you still bring "sharkbait" on board to dive with you men. i will start saving so maybe i can join in the effort.

thanks ...this is important info that you have on site. really nice to read over and dream about.

Ready to try this again.
Here Goes:

HELLO FELLOW TREASURE HUNTERS
I HAVE A FULLY PERMITTED SHIPWRECK IN JUPITER FLORIDA AND A COMPLETELY OUTFITTED 34FT TRAWLER WITH TWIN DIESELS AND BLOWERS AND MOST NESSECARY EQUIPMENT.
LOOKING FOR DIVERS OR DECKHANDS TO HELP. COULD ALSO USE SOMEONE TO RUN THE PROJECT. I AM ONLY AVAILABLE A COUPLE DAYS A WEEK SO I CAN NOT DO IT ALONE.

This sounds very similar to the first post 3 years ago! Glad to hear you have a fully permitted shipwreck!

I hope you are doing well and look forward to seeing you soon.

Good luck and keep the dream alive!

Robert

Great to see you posting again Scott, and glad things are back on track for this year. 3 years ago, I read this thread from my desk at work and after a weekend with you my life has certainly changed. Needless to say, if any of you guys get the chance, take Scott up on his offer. Great guy, great boat, great site, and most importantly, it's a great time. I'll never forget the first silver coin I pulled out of the sand there with you. Best of luck this year, soon I want to invite you down to dig a few up on our site here in the Dominican Republic.

Thanks!

Jason

I can't tell you how that trip changed my life with new friends and new direction in my treasure focus. Ditto to Robert and Jason's posts. Aquanut, this would be a great place to begin your new crew of collaborators!

Hi Chagy
I am looking forward to seeing you and diving and recovering treasure with you again. The weekend we all spent together was the beginning of a great year.

Hi Joe
A reunion in October sounds like a great way to end this years season.

Dear Seahunter,

As I see it the real treasure we found that weekend was friendship and being able to do what we love the most. I cant thank you enough for that weekend and for many other things you have done for me. You are a great man, God blees you and I will see you soon....

Keep the dream alive!!!!!

Chagy.......

Hi Chagy
Thanks for the compliments and I agree with you, the real treasure is in the friendships and memories that are made. I hope to be back out diving real soon and look forward to diving with you again. Right now I am looking for a partner to help me run the operation and share in the responsibilities and rewards. I have spent the past two months putting the "Seahunter" back in top shape and she is looking better than ever. Also am looking for a couple more boats so we can do it right this summer. I think we have shown everyone there is still plenty of treasure out there and now we can go after the bottom of the boat where the motherload should be. So far we have just been salvaging the gundeck and the captains cabin, now it is time to go out deeper and get the hull and ballast pile and the treasure that will surely be underneath it.
Here's to a great summer.
Seahunter

Scott,

I would love to talk with you about bringing down the Conquistador full time!

She certainly can blow a nice hole.

Robert
