Can a pinpointer be used underwater? If so how deep and can it supply a wired signal to the surface?

I use the X POINTER which is designed to withstand a depth to 60 meters, but I have actually used it down to 10 meters. I don't know if there is a pinpointer that has a cable to the surface.

I see the stilt barge/boat is back on site at Jupiter Inlet!
With Captain Dom's passing last year I'm not sure if the wreck ownership and/or further recovery plans changed.
Was hoping that Scott, Jason or someone in the know could give us an update?
