Whats the significance of your selected profile name?

I really don't know if this is the correct place to put this, if it's not feel free to move it. For several years I was with REACT, and in addition to using C.B.,I ran ham,and my handle was Ranger 1. I decided to "upgrade". I really enjoy this forum, btw, I have not been on recently for I was in Palo Alto having surgrury, I had my entire right kidney removed. That was on the 6th of June, and am still not able to bend over or swing a coil yet. Here's hoping that maybe a couple of more weeks I can get back into the game.

Hope u have a good recovery

Thanks for the come back people it makes me feel wanted .

Fowledup- has to do with my lifelong passion for waterfowl hunting and a small nod to Murphy who has joined me on an adventure a time or two.

I used to race ,and yes , I miss it ,but not the bills ;)<img src="http://www.treasurenet.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=827994"/>

Where did you used to race? I grew up around a track that looks similar to the one in your profile pic. It's closed now for 30 yrs but I still miss it

Feel better soon. And be careful when you do come back. I'm out off the game right now too because I had my knee replaced.

My given name is Duane. I guess that was uncommon in the late 50's as all the older people would call me Wayne. My buddy would call me that or sometimes waynzee. One evening (20 yrs ago... that's hard to believe) I was explaining to him what the internet was and that we had went online. Out of the blue he called me Wainzoid and I went with it. It sounded like cyber space to me.

My name comes from my old job and it was supposed to be 64 but I screwed up and only the 6 came out lol. I used to work in a gentleman's nightclub doing make up and generally taking care of the employees. Everyone called me mom our housemom. I did it for 15 yrs so it stuck

I live in SC and I love digging. My initials are AK. So SCDigginWithAK was born. South Carolina Diggin With Andrew K. Lol

I can't believe I dropped my good news on page 1 of this thread for the first time on TN .if I don't get any comments there will be no Easter beagle pics this year and all Christmas dinner invites will be null and void.sorry mods I know threats aren't allowed but it had to be done

I'm sorry I missed it. Congratulations! Joe is a great name... tell her you'll name him Hunter(as in treasure) or nugget or some other MD related name. She will warm up to Joe.

I get dizzy very easily (illness), and dig lots of holes when prospecting....just made sense..lol

I worked with a guy named Kenny who would say things like "well I think my own self..." Another guy Rick would refer to him as "Kenny his own self". Both became good friends of mine. I moved away years ago but always remembered "Kenny his own self" and took "hisownself" as my standard profile name. What's good about it is it's always available!
