Welcome to the site! Please post an introduction thread.

Hello fellow seekers! I am just an adventurous spirit in search of the truth... I am interested more in history, & archaeology than in "treasure"... In my opinion the greatest treasure one can gain is knowledge & truth!❤️

I watched a YouTube video this morning with rather compelling evidence IMO that The Money Pit on Oak Island is actually a vertical Viking long ship. Is this common knowledge? Seems to make a lot of sense, of course I'm not an expert....

hi my name is james im new to this sit. I am hoping to get some information on building a dredge boat for going to Alaska. If anyone can help im willing to listen.

Just saw the show last nite on this mystery,.. Liked hearing this
Theory, very interesting.

Hi all! My 3 year old stepdaughter enjoys watching Gold Rush on the Discovery Channel with me. I thought it might be fun to take her out from time to time into the state parks to pan for gold here in Pennsylvania. I'm not expecting to find much, if anything at all, but thought it would be a fun experience for her. What should I look for when choosing a location and would anyone know the site for regulations in Pennsylvania on recreational gold mining?

Hi. This may be an old thread. It is 2014 and the last reply was 2012. I am from Pocahontas AR., an area with plenty of 19th century history. I use a garett ace 350

I too am a new member (sort of fumbling around). I do like your thinking and live in an area where there is lots of history

(NEWBIE) names Andrew, friends call me Andy but you can call me Anytime ;)
Im always looking for some new DIGGAS in my area. Im a member of Central Valley Prospectors and Im signing up for a GPAA membership as soon as I can dig up enough gold to pay for the membership. Ive only been digging for about a year. I got serious about it just recently. I have built a electric highbanker using a 12V marine battery and some 12V bilge pumps. im not even sure if im suppose to use this in my area. any tips for a newbie would be greatly appreciated. Happy hunting!!

Hello, my name is James and I am about to become a detectoraholic. I am in the Great State of Upper East Tennessee, spent 30 years in Alabama (still a resident of AL but live in TN). I am an EMT with an ambulance company in SW VA. I am also a beekeeper (Poor Hollow Bee Farm) and a copper penny hoarder.

I have wanted a MD since I was a kid and have never been able to afford one. I am just about at the point where I am ready to pry the wallet out of my pocket because I have been seeing just too many places that need to be searched.

I haven't yet decided for sure which machine to get but am currently heavily leaning toward a Garrett AT Pro. I am just about the biggest cheapskate in history until it comes to tools. I don't necessarily need the "best" but do want the best I can possibly afford within reason and do not want a unit that I will need to replace in a year or two. I want one that will last for a very long time. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

I guess I posted in the wrong spot, sorry.Just received a MD for xmas,I have only gone out once, pretty new to all this treasure hunting stuff, but excited to learn more :) Anyone know of some good spots in San Diego??I think I'm going to go out tomorrow and see what I can find.

Hello! My name is mike from Ohio. Have a Minelab detector for many years and enjoy getting out looking for treasure (bottle caps, alum. tabs, metal...hehehe) precious items you know! Been out of action for many years due to health reasons but back on my feet and looking forward to spring time to get back out.

Hello from the Western Slope of Colorado; where the wife and fur baby gold pan, metal detect in and around ghost towns and rock hound with me. My wife is already a member and said instead of using her name to look around get one of my own; so I did it !
I am an avid hunter, atver, camper, gold panner, metal detector and rock hound enthusiast. I enjoy the outdoors (would rather be there than mowing the lawn), and anyone who thinks nature isn't it hasn't seen a turkey fly or the side of a mountain move and its a huge herd of elk.
So glad the wife found this site so we can upload (if the technology will let us ! LOL) and share stories ..

Just signed up. Looking forward to getting and sharing information. I am from Massachusetts.

Checking in from eastern Iowa. Cabin fever had set in this winter and I stumbled onto a link to Tnet, and got to reading all about detecting and seeing all the fabulous finds detectorists all over the world are making. WOW! - I got excited to say the least! I'm picking up my detectoer soon and I've already been lining up my "dig sites". HH
