Hi
It is good to be here from Connecticut. Hope to find friends and learn about bury treasures from the Pros.

Sorry I didn't stop by here first. I am new to treasure net. I have posted a few comments on other post so far. I came across tnet through researching treasure leads in my area. I live in the 4 corners area, and lived here most of my life. I love the outdoors and try to get out at least every weekend. Lots of awesome history in this, just not enough info. Most info seems vague, but what I have seen in this area compared to what is on this site is very useful. I have seen markers before but didn't know what they mean till now. So thanks. Have a lot of sites to go back to, will take pictures when I can and post what I can.

Hello Everyone,
I am new and have nevered hunt before, and full of excitment for this new found hobby of mine. I am glad to be here!
Happy hunting to all.

Hello all! My name is Phil and I live in the upstate of South Carolina north of Greenville.

I am just starting out and looking to either buy or build a little sluice box to trap gold in the streams up here. This is my plan but I have only done once without a sluice and the only thing I managed to pan in 6 hours in the First Broad River near Shelby, NC. was a bunch of garnet's, just blood red to pinkish/purple.

I am married with 3 children and 2 Boston terriers. I enjoy the NFL - Miami, College - Gamecocks, computers, and of course my recent hobby, gold prospecting.

I feel very lost and I am trying to hook up with someone in the Carolinas or North GA. to learn and labor for you. I hope to one day be able to get even a few specks of gold, a nugget would be a bonus! I have watched about every gold dredging, panning, sluicing shows I can find but really would like to join a group or something because at this point I am kind of stuck literally between a rock and a hard place.(I fell as I was lifting a huge rock and my fingers were mashed between 2 large slab rocks! Nothing permanent but it would have made the funniest home videos as my pan, bucket and shovel took off downstream! :-(

Hi folks...I'm just re-starting this great hobby here in Northeastern Ky. I was very much into it back in the 70's/80's, the days when finding silver was just run of the mill, but let it slide. 73 yrs old now and happy to be back. Have an ATPro/stock coil, assorted probing/digging tools, a White's pinpointer and a knee pad! I'm finding that learning a digital detector is a little different than the old White's 6000 geb I used to have. Only had the Garrett 6 days but have a few hours on it, mainly in the yard to get used to it. Already changed batteries as the indicator was down 1 notch. Anxious to get it out and about soon! Getting up and down on the right knee isn't what it used to be either, but really great exercise...and an interesting hobby. With a little luck, maybe I'll have something to report in the future. Sorry I gabbed so much!
