TWO SIGNS LEFT TO I.D. MINE, AS SPANISH, FRENCH, OR JESUIT.

Mikel,
It wasn't far from here.

Wait, that's the big stone on top of the rock pile. I think I have a shot of that on my camera... ??[/QUOTE
Mikel,
I think you do too. Check your pix for another angle of this rock.
Can you see the "M" with what looks like a pull mark? on the bottom of that rock?
-Weekender

Yep... I can see it plain as day... now!
I remember walking around it and seeing thru the rocks in about a half dozen places.

It might help me write, if you send a few photos a week to point out some of those.

My mind keeps shorting out and going back to the owl.... and the western end of the site.

When I have time, I'm going to send you an email with some questions and pics starting from the first trip..
Just making sure that I remember them right...

2017-07-12 19.43.06.jpg hey guys few questions bottom left mark is that a shadow?? Right above that mark is that an eyeball with lashes haha top right mark cross?? Maybe a little man and bottom right mark guys I see more than one mark there. Just my thoughts.. and by the way that's an awesome tree

Do you have a wider shot at it. . Looking at it sideways is one.of the ways. There is a effigy pointing into the cave. In yellow is the hand. It has a face also. Notice the figure on top when looking at it sideways.

NWAHER and Orangeman, and BWBob,
All of you have spotted some interesting possibilities, and there are more that I see. Let's keep those thoughts on the table but focus on some of the larger possibilities...

First, note that the massive stone is floating on several smaller stones, and daylight is visible in several places and from several different angles, and the camera angle for this pic shows what might be a rather large turtle with the head and two front legs. (Just a possibility)..

Now notice that the top is mostly flat, except for the top left corner, where there is a chunk that has been chipped away leaving something on the seat, two objects left in it, that look like a pillow and a skull, (still just possibilities,) but larger possibilities.
Not that they are more or less likely to be the best, or more likely to be correct, just bigger...

There are some more small shapes that I have noticed that I don't have the time to point out, but it's 2:35 a.m. And I need to be up at 5 a.m.

Sleep won't come, but I need some shut eye, so good night all.

I finally got started on the new ending, last night.
It's forward motion...

More later.

Two chapters down. The next one will be much harder.
Going through photos that were taken a year ago, and remembering the details of that day.

That trip is so closely related to the one that followed, that they are difficult to separate. Fortunately they are well separated by the weather and how we were geared up in photos.

I have been very distracted lately, and writing seems to take me to another world, but it also makes my head hurt.

I think I will rest today....

Trees...!
Sorry, the files didn't transfer...
I'll try again, later.

Okay, I'll get back to the trees a little bit later...

For now, a progress report.
Over the last few weeks, I have buried my head and heart into the book.

Thirty four pages and over a dozen photos. And have lots of room for Weekender's favorite photos and points to ponder.

I'm still having trouble with my TNET password staying in place, and my email account on the laptop. It makes research difficult but not impossible....

I have got to get the email glitch fixed before I can move on.

More later.

I know that I have more than five photos of trees that weekender has taken on our expectations. There is one photo that has three or four trees pointing the same direction.....

I hope they all show up this time.

Mike do the trees have marking? They look like they might. The last one looks like it has something on the up right part

I understand if they have information that shouldn't be seen

Mike you have either Jesuit or a possibility of the Knights Templar. I'm leaning towards the Jesuit . It's all very similar to what I have as in stone workings. The effigies are the same along with what it says. I haven't seen that marker I look for yet. You will have to get more photos. Close to dark with angled pictures will show more definition. Or lighting from different angles. Can you take without flash ? Don't know if there enough light. Camping lantern works goods on low.

Hey Bob, try this! I grabbed a windshield shade from the 99 cent store one side has a pretty design & the other is reflective. A quick twist of the wrist & it folds down to nothing. Works great for shading an area or directing / reflecting light where needed. I ended up opting for the two piece one, just works better using one half. Makes a good sunshade for when you make that "Naw don't need no hat" decision.

Mikel, Do you have access to a CD or DVD burner on any of your machines? This might help you a bunch, it did me. Take your photos and save them to a CD or DVD. I use one for each site or subject. Then I use word to make a file with notes for the photos. Like DSC0001 pic of me falling on my butt. Now you have your photos on a nearly indestructible media with all your notes in one place. Makes it real easy to remember what where etc. You can add to it as needed. I've been doing this since the 90s and can still read the early ones that were done on Windows 98 easily. Another plus is being able to add scanned docs or research materials to the disk. Out of all the stuff I've added to my computer the disk burner & doc scanners are money well spent!
