YES, I AM WELL VERSED ON THE USE OF TREE MARKERS, INDIAN AND OTHERS.
THIS ONE ISN'T IN A SWAMP. IF FOLLOWED BLINDLY, IT WILL LEAD YOU OVER A BLUFF AND
THEN UP ANOTHER ONE ON THE FAR SIDE OF A VALLEY.
IT POINTS AWAY FROM THE CLOSEST WATER SUPPLY.
IT JUST DOESN'T ADD UP WELL.
IT DOES LEAD TO SEVERAL OTHER MARKERS THAT ARE NOT INDIAN MARKS.
