You are correct about not wanting anyone else getting there. She has already cost me two months getting there and wants me to do two more months work for her, thru the summer and then only allow me to go in the fall.

That's hunting season.

She has been a total bust.

A few phone calls last night, found me a new way in without the drama. So she is being moved to the back burner.

I slept better last night than I have in a month.

I'm going to work on my agreement paper to be a little more airtight, but not hire myself out as a farmhand.

It's enough work for me to just get there without building roads where only horse drawn wagons traveled a century ago.

The new way in is much better.
I hear the coffee pot calling me, so more later.

I found out from the books. Lips mean look down to the right. And sure enough there was a stone in a hole. I was kind of freaked out at sticking my hand in a hole. It's a show of faith or something else. I will start carrying a flashlight with me.

I use my digital camera, attached to my walking stick. Use the ten second countdown button and stick it in the hole. Repeat in several directions to make sure before I put my hand or foot into hazardous spots.
Haven't had any surprises yet and don't want any.

This extends my reach by six feet, and has a ten second timer with flash or can take video where light is abundant.

Can see images in seconds to keep arms and legs safe.

My last day trip I kept it mounted for better, shake free, images'

Bob. That tool that you have would have been very useful in a lot of places that I have explored.
The lighted, flexible shaft could have seen thru many cracks and crevasses that my camera can not fit.

It is a great little tool to have in your backpack.

If they could make the handle round like a flash light it would be better. The video monitor comes off and that would allow you to extend it like you do with your camera. I only carry it when I know there will be a need for it.. I load myself down with so much these days with water. The heat is brutal this year. The temp right now says 91° but when humidity is factored in its 101°
