Now we are having serious health problems with kids, maybe due to covid 19. 3 have died in NYC. They say it is like Kawasaki disease or Toxic Shock like syndrome.

Probably in some cases in Halls where all types Of Drugs etc. are being used, and spilled. and never cleaned properly since the buildings were built, in the early 1900's.

and if the Masks are being cleaned, it's a half-assd Quick Cleaning with a Cleaning agent that is allowed to air Dry in overnight.

And they are Probably not being allowed to get out in the Air & Sunshine.

as for the adults, it's the Shut-ins who are mostly dying , Not the people who are getting out into the air & Sun-shine.
it's the stay at home order that is killing people. many think it means don't open your front door and walk outside.

I'm sure it's Happening, But my guess the only relation to the Chinese Virus is that it's Cause is because of the Precautions,
The people are being forced to Take. mask orders, stay at home orders, lack of exercise and natural vitamins, etc.
(like a byproduct) But Anything else I Would add, I fear would be too Political. but I'd say find out what state or States is it happening ? and under who's rules

While it is true that the current death count (as of May 10th) of 80,000 is nowhere near that of the 1918 Spanish flu (some 650,000), both are bad. The Spanish flu, in fact, is considered a modern "worse-case" scenario.

A couple of things to keep in context:

In 1918, social distancing and other familiar actions were recommended, but the problem was that the adoption of precautions was not universal. Philadelphia at the time is a great example of what not to do; they held a parade at the height of the spread. Actions such as these and others created a higher death rate. Today, US citizens are adhering far better in their distancing efforts and such, which will ultimately restain the death count. So, what we are doing is better than what was done in 1918.

Another thing to consider is the timeline. In 1918, the total number of deaths were accumulated within a 9 month period, resulting in 3 virus peaks in that timeframe. So far today, we are only in the first 2 months of this current pandemic. IF...if we are virtuous enough to find a vaccine or develop a thorough treatment of this virus, we might curtail any future peaks. But most experts agree that with or without a cure, this virus will linger for some time to come, so deaths will continue; it's only the rate of death that we can control.

Finally, this virus is very, very deceptive; it has an incubation period that is greater than the flu of 1918. Had the US done nothing to this point; no distancing, no masks or isolating, and just carried on with our social lives, then the death count by all standards put forth from the President down would have been in the millions. And that potential prospect alone makes this a very serious virus.

Comparing the Covid-19 virus to those of the Spanish flu or even the Black plague does not make this flu trivial. In fact, it makes it serious.

Additionally, we have much better detection and symptomatic treatments than we had in 1918.

In my opinion the biggest difference between now and then is affordable and expedient continental and global travel...which is HUGE!!!!
That is the white elephant in the room.

People keep talking about “re-opening air travel”...what they fail to do is look at the daily radar map of the US...there are plenty of planes flying all over the place every day...entering and leaving the country.

The Spanush flu covered more than a 9 month period, the majority of American deaths was over 9 month period, but the flu and deaths ran from spring of 1918 through spring or early summer 1919. 195,000 Americans died in October 1918 alone.

I quit watching the news! I can't say why, because someone will say it's political and remove my comment and opinion. Also CDC just got busted paying hospitals more money if they list deaths as COVID and not the real cause of death, (not political it's facts, anyone can research it), along with WHO, Bill Gates, and Dr. Fauci and the reasons President Trump stopped funding. The Surgeon General just recently came out about the actual deaths count which is extremely lower than actually told on the news media outlets. Trump is going to get the economy going again, but the enemies will try and prevent it. Sad thing is too many people lost their jobs already as well as some small businesses going under.

For all of you blaming the masks for getting the kids sick = If it were true then all the doctors, nurses and people in clinics and ordinary people all over the world would have gotten it too as they wear the masks for far longer than the kids do during a quick trip to store or wherever. Please use common sense when a story comes out as this one is just nonsense!

doctors, nurses and people in clinics wear new masks every day, maybe even every time they enter a different situation. other adults that are paranoid enough to wear them all day, keep theirs
cleaner. are washing their hands more often, and aren't fiddling with them as much.
they are also adults, most with better stronger systems.

I do not believe it is nonsense that these mask rules are killing kids and causing more issues then not.

the Elderly & the workers in Nursing homes are wearing Masks & some are on Oxygen 24/7
the Elderly & the workers in Nursing homes are Still Getting the Virus. & some are still Dying from it.

Proof Positive Masks aren't worth Crap !
