Car dealerships in our area have layed everyone off, just the owners working mostly. If you see a car you want to buy, you can call or email them, but you buy it with no test drive. They don't wanna have to disinfect vehicles after every test drive. Lets see how that goes--

Car dealers down here are still open, still have sales force, still selling, still doing maintenance too. I was out shopping at Walmart today for putting soil, plants and fertilizers. Restaurants are opening up Monday, starting off with 25% seating capacity on inside, 6 foot distance between tables on outside. Barbershops and nail salons will start opening soon by appoints, tax offices are opening back up by appointment too.

Our county went down from 13 cases to 12 , how does that work? this is the second time the numbers have dropped for this county. it's Day 47 of the governors lock down , you must stay home or die, BUT only 12 people caught it so far and none have died. his plan must be working right? living next to a 16.280 acre state forest has it's perks. more critters than people around here. and nothing in town is shut down that I notice, so much for the lock down , he better get in his car and take a look.
next county over is ate up with corona at 136 people. life is pretty much normal here.

shut down one of the A1A lanes today...

It accomplished NOTHING, that I could tell, other than to
bottleneck traffic, and I counted 15 to 20 ppl, at any given time during day,
on the sidewalk and/or "street lane", within the WHOLE STRETCH!
Parking garages are CLOSED!
How they want us to get there and park, Metro-Bus, givemeabreak….
That would be a 6 hour round trip! If not longer... are they even running...
you couldn't pay me to climb on one of them clap traps of germs...

I hope his brilliant brain fart, isn't going to hinder legitimate workers,

long story short..its property owners$$$ over 70% of homes are 2nd homes for those that can afford it..most are now down here they are trying to keep the roadblock up to keep the public out.all the while those who work for a living are being forced out,lot of people living the dream are paycheck to paycheck..hospitally,fishing mates...the list goes on....note its a facebook thing

Lockdown? Where? Here, auto parts stores, hardware stores, tire shops, mechanics… Nursery's, garden centers, All open. Restaurants open...Take out and curbside. Auto dealerships (2) open. Building/construction going full bore. A large percentage of people being tested for antibodies, my self included tested positive. We all had a upper respiratory type thing from late January on.
If you are unemployed you receive 600 dollars ON TOP of regular unemployment insurance! Quite a few I have talked to said.... I'm making money staying home! Independent proprietors are also supposed to be getting unemployment benefits.

I agree with you Pat, I don't get Any of those ideas from him! Why shut down Parking Garages and put folks on a BUS!? WOW! I'm so sorry about the issues down there in Miami, Dade. Between the Super Bowl and Spring Break...No way to avoid a Direct Hit.

This being the first day back to work for many, Please Stay Safe, Wear The Mask regardless of what some say about fear mongering, sissies etc. Take your own sanitizer, Lysol, Alcohol Wipes, whatever you use. Let them yak...you be as safe as possible, your family and friends need you. This thing isn't anything to mess around with or some garden variety virus. NOBODY KNOWS ENOUGH TO CONTROL IT IN ANY WAY. NOBODY!

As If we didn't have enough going on, now we gotta watch for these Asian Murder Hornets! If you're allergic to bees or wasps, hornets, take your EpiPen too! Jeez.

Stay Safe, Talk To Your Employer, I'm sure every business opening today will have a company meeting. Ask questions if you don't feel safe and want to know their policies. Insist on masks if they aren't providing them. A security guard was shot and killed at a Dollar Store because they aren't letting people in without them, the shopper didn't want to wear one, so was denied entrance and shot the guard over it. We know that won't be the only time that happens.

I don't over react to things, I do have a lot of friends and family in medicine and I've not only talked in length with them over this, but have researched everything said publicly and what they've said. It's scary due to so many who are asymptomatic and they or us will never know they have it.

But I Think I heard Trump say he wants things to Get back to People Being able to Get back to the way We were
apparently He & I are in the Minority

I Hate that " New Nomal " Threat.

I say let them have as Many as they want. the sheep can stay out.
Odds are they will anyway, And the Restaurant will have a Better chance of Thriving without tripling Prices
to make up for the empty Spaces.

I was waiting for phones and elected officials offices to open.
Seems we have a federal judge, want ICE to release 1000 +/-
illegal immigrants out of dade & Broward detention ctrs.
Both of my phones are dead, ugh...

When the last cruise ship docked here, those AMERICAN CITIZENS on there,
were herded onto buses, driven straight to the airport, and flown home.
Treated like deadly pariah! Even the international travelers were flown back home!
But, we'll absorb 1000 immigrants, into our communities, no word if
they been tested?, where they'll go, criminal records.... oh wait....
They could be sent back to their home country, too!

American citizens locked up and rights restricted,
illegal immigrants, our country is your oyster....
